Miss Scarlet Season 5 Story
Miss Scarlet gets a new partner
It is unclear exactly what will happen in Miss Scarlett Season 5, and the closing moments of season 4 didn’t offer much in the way of clues. Season 4 saw the duo split up as Eliza accepts a job offer at Nash & SonsBut William eventually professes his love for Eliza. William was then absent from the last two episodes, and their love story was put on the backburner as she solved a case with Nash.
PBS revealed a synopsis for season 5 that reads:
In the new season, Eliza’s agency is flourishing and her professional life is on a successful path. On the personal side, however, Duke is now away in New York for several months and Eliza is forced to make a difficult decision. Meanwhile, a new detective inspector arrives at Scotland Yard and Eliza must navigate building a relationship with him if she is to continue to have access to police resources. All these changes and decisions beg the question: Can Eliza Scarlet have it all?
Unfortunately, Stuart Martin’s departure from the series seems to rob fans of any chance for closure regarding the William and Eliza love plot, leaving season 5 somewhat open-ended. however, The introduction of Tom Durant Pritchard’s Alexander Blake is sure to shake things upAnd the hardened detective probably goes head to head with the strong Eliza. No more Miss Scarlet and the Duke, Miss Scarlett Season 5 has a blank slate to work with.
