In The Amazing Spider-Man #60by Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr., Spider-Man must take a quick detour to take care of his old bank robber friend, Flint Marko, or Sandman. It’s a quick battle because, at this point, Peter Parker knows how to deal with this bad guy – but it’s a simple statement that reveals the extent of Sandman’s potential.

It’s a minor feat and not at its peak, but it’s a godly act by Sandman: an act of creation that he will continue to perfect.

Sand always turns into glass, and into Peter Parker: The Amazing Spider-Man #308​​​​​​​ by Chip Zdarsky and Chris Bachalo, debuts a future godlike version of Sandman who survived as an immortal being after the collapse of the universe and reaches across the multiverse to reach Earth 616 and catch Flint’s Marko. life to cement yourself back into reality and life. Spider-Man confirms what fans already know: that at the end of the world, after the tragic deaths of other Spider-Man characters, there will be nothing left but sand.
Flint Marko’s humanity is already starting to take a backseat. The more he succumbs to his sand self, the less mortal he will become. In his quick battle with Spider-Man, he shows that he is not yet at his peak and acts like a petty criminal. Spider-Man also still knows how to deal with this villain, but the end of their fight is threatening: Sandman cannot be killed, only disseminated for a while. He will be back, again and again, because Sandman is immortal. Just like a god.
