TJ Miller has appeared in a number of intense sci-fi movies in which he plays the snarky, wise-cracking member of the ensemble amidst the chaos. While Cloverfield And Transformers: Age of Extinction are perhaps the most famous examples of this, underwater is one of his best and is a vastly underrated monster movie. Kristen Stewart stars as a member of the crew at an underground research facility that is rocked by a sudden earthquake. When the survivors attempt to reach safety by crossing the ocean floor, they realize that something is lurking in the water.
Stewart has an exceptional supporting cast backing her up for this intense and inventive ride, with the likes of Vincent Cassel and John Gallagher Jr. Miller is a standout as Paul Abel, one of the few survivors. While Miller provides comedic relief as danger lurks aroundHe avoids making the character an outright cliché and elevates the role with some intelligence. The movie itself is a solid monster movie with elements of Alien And The abyss Go in. Go in.

Office Christmas Party (2016)
Like Clay Vanstone
TJ Miller has proven many times that he can hold his own against some great comedic talent. One of the most star-studded comedy ensembles he was part of was the holiday comedy Office Christmas Party. The movie stars Jason Bateman as Josh Parker, an employee at a corporation overseen by strict CEO Carol Vanstone (Jennifer Aniston). When Carol refuses to leave a Christmas party before the branch closes, her reckless brother Clay (played by Miller) decides that an epic holiday bash could be what saves the branch.
Along with Batman and Aniston, Miller shares the screen with Kate McKinnon, Olivia Mann, Sam Richardson and Randall Park among other odd people. The movie embraces the fun of staging the wildest office party in history, with The antics grow increasingly out of control, mostly thanks to Miller’s kind but wild clay.

Unstoppable (2010)
Like Gilleece
While director Tony Scott made many iconic movies in his impressive career, Unstoppable Serves as a solid final film before his tragic death. As the duo go about their day with tensions rising between them, a runaway train becomes a threat to a nearby community and it’s up to Frank to stop it.
Miller has a pivotal supporting role in the action movie as Gilleece, the lazy and inept railroad employee whose poor decision-making sets the disaster in motion.. Unstoppable is a prime example of the fun that can be had with a simple premise in the hands of a master filmmaker. Scott delivers an exciting, fast-paced and fun ride from start to finish.

Our Idiot Brother (2011)
Like Billy
TJ Miller has proven to have great comedy chemistry with A-list actors, even in smaller supporting roles. Our idiot brother May not put Miller front and center, but he is easily one of the movie’s most charming characters. Paul Rudd stars as Ned, a middle-aged stoner who is somewhat directionless despite a constantly upbeat and friendly outlook on life. Trying to get back on his feet, he starts spending time with his three sisters (Elizabeth Banks, Emily Mortimer and Zooey Deschanel), only to inadvertently shatter their lives.
Miller plays Billy, the new boyfriend of Ned’s ex-girlfriend, Janet (Kathryn Hahn).. Despite Janet being aggressive and mean aggressive to Ned, Billy shares Ned’s positivity. It’s hilarious and heartwarming how, over the course of the movie, these two people continue to bond with each other until they are best friends and live together until the end. The movie itself is a sweet and funny comedy and one of Rudd’s most underrated roles.

While TJ Miller’s film career is impressive, his best project to date has been on the small screen. Silicon Valley is TV legend Mike Judge’s sitcom that takes a hilariously satirical look at the modern tech world. The show follows a start-up tech company called Pied Piper as they navigate the weird world of Silicon Valley and all its strange characters. Miller plays one of the funniest of them all.
Miller’s role as Erlich Bachman, the head of the incubator from which Pied Piper grew, is one of the highlights of the show. Miller is consistently hilarious as the verbose and unhinged man who thinks much more of himself than others do.. Miller left the show in season 4, and while the incredible ensemble was able to keep the series funny, Bachman was a sorely missed presence in the final season.
