According to information obtained by the leaker known as Jelena, a new NPC model was leaked for version 5.2. As seen in the leak, which was shared in a post tagged “History” about Reddit, the NPC model is not for a humanoid figure, but for a dragon-like creature. Several images of this leaked NPC have been shared, showing a nearly 360-degree view of her body model. The creature has a snake-like body, although it has arms extended to the sides. The body color varies between brown and beige with green details. Its head is that of a dragon in Genshin Impact.

In addition to the body, this leaked NPC model wears clothes. The clothing is mostly represented by a large white cloak with gold and green decorations. Furthermore, the leaked NPC has an accessory floating on its back, which looks like some sort of catalyst. The item is divided into two parts that appear to form a sun. The accessory appears to be missing a third, although its design may limit it to just two pieces. Based on the leaked NPC model, it is possible to speculate which character Natlan in Genshin Impact they are: Waxaklahun Ubah Kan.

Who is Waxaklahun Ubah Kan in Genshin Impact

The character is also known as the Sage of the Stolen Flame.

Although Waxaklahun Ubah Kan did not formally appear in the game, he is an important historical figure in the history of Natlan. Waxaklahun Ubah Kan is also known as the Sage of the Stolen Flame. He earned this title because of one of his best-known feats: he stole control of Phlogiston from dragons and taught humanity how to wield the Pyro-based element. Waxaklahun Ubah Kan appeared in the form of murals and was first seen in story spoilers for Genshin Impact 5.0. As seen in these murals, he is connected to Xbalanque, the former Archon Pyro.

Waxaklahun Ubah Kan is constantly seen together with Xbalanque, although little else is known about their friendship. It is speculated that Waxaklahun Ubah Kan taught Xbalanque how to use Phlogiston, which may or may not have impacted Xbalanque’s Ascension to the throne of Archon Pyro – for reference, Xbalanque became the Pyro Archon by defeating the Pyro Sovereign, a dragon known as Xiuhcoatl. At the time, dragons ruled Natlan with tyranny, and it was the rise of humanity that allowed them to escape the clutches of their masters. Waxaklahun Ubah Kan is associated with this struggle for freedom in Genshin Impact.

An important aspect of the story of Waxaklahun Ubah Kan is that, prior to Xbalanque’s ascension to the role of Archon Pyro, the Sage of the Stolen Flame created a trial to test the most capable warriors. This test is the Blessing Domain known as the Rainbow Spirit Sanctuary, which drops the Cinder City Hero Scroll and Obsidian Codex Artifacts in Genshin Impact. After witnessing the tribes of Natlan wielding the power of Phlogiston against each other instead of rebelling together, Waxaklahun Ubah Kan felt discouraged and disappeared from Natlan. while also sealing the Rainbow Spirit Sanctuary.

What Waxaklahun Ubah Kan Could Mean for Natlan’s Story in Genshin Impact

The Sage may reveal more details about Xbalanque

If the leak is accurate, there are some indications that Waxaklahun Ubah Kan may appear as an NPC in the game. In fact, the leak claims that the character will appear in an upcoming World Quest, which will likely be related to one of the new leaked areas in Natlan. The character’s appearance alone is full of tradition, but it also has heavy implications for the story in question. Genshin Impact. The first is that something brought Waxaklahun Ubah Kan out of his seclusion from society or, perhaps, the Traveler managed to find his lair.

If the Traveler meets with Waxaklahun Ubah Kan, players will be able to discover more about ancient Natlan and her struggles against the tyrannical dragons that ruled her because the Sage of the Stolen Flame was there when all of this happened. Additionally, Waxaklahun Ubah Kan could reveal more details about Xbalanque, the human who defeated Xiuhcoatl and ascended the throne of Pyro Archon. So far, there are indications that Xbalanque passed away, but this may not be entirely true. Xbalanque is known for being the Buried with the Primordial Fire in the game.

Waxaklahun Ubah Kan’s return could result in more details about Xbalanque and even reveal information about his fate in Natlan’s story. As the one who taught the humans of Natlan to use phlogiston, he could even have an impact on the future of history, as humanity needs to come together to defend itself from the Abyss’s incursion. There is a chance that Waxaklahun Ubah Kan will once again work alongside humanity to combat a threat to Natlan’s existence, perhaps guiding Mavuika’s heroes in Genshin Impact.

The leak about the NPC model should be taken with caution, as it may be incorrect, incomplete or subject to change. However, the prospect of introducing such an important historical figure from Natlan could certainly reveal many secrets about the Pyro Nation’s ancient history – and could also affect the outcome of future events, such as the Nation’s struggles with the Abyss. There are many ways to go about the possible introduction of Waxaklahun Ubah Kan as an NPC in Genshin Impact 5.2.
