What Silo Season 2’s Rebellion Means for Juliette
Rebecca Ferguson’s character could have to save more than just herself
THE Silo The first season finale shows Juliette going out to “clean up,” which is essentially a death sentence, and the last time the audience sees her, she is looking at a post-apocalyptic wasteland across dozens of other silos. The rebellion in the clip suggests that a large part of season 2 will explore what happened to these other civilizations. At least one has clearly been decimated by a rebellion, with citizens beginning to doubt that the outside world is truly toxic, just as Juliette did in the first season.
This rebellion also reflects a potential future for others in the Silo cast of characters. You already provoked this Juliette climbing the hill made residents question the leadership of figures like Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins) and Robert Sims (Common). This reveals a potential storyline of Juliette having to return home to prevent her former silo mates from rebelling and dooming themselves.
Our opinion on the first 5 minutes of Silo season 2
The Apple TV+ series could be even more action-packed
Silo Reviews for the first season were generally positive and the show was a huge success, but the pacing sometimes felt a little slow. Season two is trying to up the ante, and The rebellion featured in the clip is actually the first example of this type of large-scale action being shown on screen in the series. If the clip is a sign of what’s to come in later episodes of Season 2, then audiences could be in for an even more intense ride when the Apple TV+ series returns.
