Lots of fan favorites Chicago Fire the relationships have been between someone who works at Firehouse 51 and someone who doesn’t. For example, Wallace Boden and Donna Robbins had a happy and healthy marriage on the NBC procedural drama, but Donna was not part of the Firehouse 51 crew, which means they cannot be ranked on this list. The same goes for Randall “Mouch” McHolland and Trudy Platt (who works in the 21st District in Chicago Police) and Christopher Herrmann and his wife, Cindy. Joe Cruz and Sylvie Brett
Status: dismembered
Some may have forgotten that Sylvie Brett and Joe Cruz were once an item on Chicago Fireand it’s hard to blame anyone who erased this couple from their minds. Brett and Cruz were better off as friends as there were no sparks between them. The writers tried to push the two fan favorites Chicago Fire characters together, but it always felt forced as it was obvious their dynamic was closer to a brother-sister relationship than a romantic one.
The good news is that Brett and Cruz’s romance didn’t last long Chicago Fire season 3. The paramedic and the firefighter soon realized what everyone already knew – they worked much better as friends than as romantic partners. Blake Gallo and Gianna Mackey
Status: dismembered

However, Gallo and Mackey never put a label on their relationship. Their feelings for each other never went beyond physical attraction. Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd
Status: Married
No matter how frustrating they may be, Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd arguably have the best Firehouse 51 relationship in Chicago Fire.
