Agatha all the time comes to an emotional conclusion with episodes 8 and 9, which reveal Nicholas Scratch’s origin, an unexpected death, and a tease for Billy’s future story in the MCU. Agatha all the time Episode 7 focused on Lilia Calderu, who overcame the fourth trial of the Witches’ Road by sacrificing her life to defeat the Salem Seven and save her coven. After episode 7, Agatha Harkness, Billy Kaplan and Jennifer Kale understand that Rio Vidal is actually Marvel’s Death in disguise and prepare to end their journey down the Witch’s Road.
Agatha all the time built several mysteries throughout its previous seven episodes. Agatha all the time episode 6 revealed that Teen’s identity is Billy Maximoff after keeping his name a secret for six episodes. The series also teased and later teased out each witch’s backstory through cryptic clues included in each Witch Road trial. For example, Alice Wu-Gulliver’s fears were revealed to be related to a family curse in Agatha all the time episode 5, and Lilia Calderu’s strange visions were revealed to be accurate premonitions in Agatha all the time episode 7. Likewise, Agatha all the time episodes 8 and 9 provide answers to the series’ remaining mysteries.

At the beginning of Agatha all the time episode 8, Death confesses to Agatha that “no one in history has received special treatment” as Agatha, referring to Agatha’s borrowed time with her late son Nicholas. Death also tells Agatha that Tommy has not yet been reincarnated and that she needs to take Billysince he technically cheated death by taking control of Billy Kaplan’s body. Agatha offers Billy’s life to Death in exchange for a long life without Death stepping on her toes.

Jennifer Kale discovers that Agatha tied her up and regains her magic

Almost as soon as Agatha, Billy, and Jen arrive at the Last Judgment Room, Jennifer begins to suspect the true nature of her bonded magic, as Billy reminds her that she has accomplished many feats without it. Jen confronts Agatha, and Agatha immediately confesses that she tied up Jen, saying: “I didn’t know it was you! It was in the 1920s… It was tied up or burned.” Furious, Jen performs an unbinding ritual with the help of a lock of Agatha’s hair. Jen repeats, “you don’t hold anything back” and falls to his knees. Jen’s hands glow and she is released from the Witch Road, free to rebuild her life as she pleases.
For over a hundred years, Jennifer Kale believed that a Boston doctor was the one who tied her up, which is why she had nightmares where the man drowned her. As the only member of Agatha’s coven recruited to finish the Witches’ Road, she has earned the right to regain her magic without further sacrifice. As Agatha explains to Billy, “the road gave her what she was missing, and now she’s gone.” Jen is unlikely to reunite with Agatha, however.

Billy helps Tommy Maximoff reincarnate in a new body
Billy locates Tommy Maximoff’s new body and sets out to find him.
After Jen leaves the Witch Road, Agatha decides to help Billy find his brother Tommy before the last trial time runs out. Agatha understands that Tommy is somewhere out there, unconsciously waiting for her. “another life” in a new body. Agatha holds Billy’s head and guides him into his deepest memories. Billy is able to access his previous life and remember how the two twins ceased to exist in the WandaVision end. Agatha asks Billy to find a body for Tommy, and Billy locates a teenager who drowns after being pushed into a pool. According to Tommy, this teenager has “no one to love him”.
In the comics, Tommy Maximoff is reincarnated in the body of Tommy Shepherd – a rebellious teenager who is constantly sent to juvenile detention centers. After developing speed-based powers and destroying his school, Tommy is sent to a maximum security prison. However, the Young Avengers arrive to recruit him into their ranks, and that’s when Tommy reunites with his reincarnated twin brother, Billy, aka Wiccan. Once in the Young Avengers, Tommy adopts the superhero nickname “Speed”.

Billy restores Agatha’s power with his own magic

Back in her backyard, Death tries to take Agatha’s life. Billy intervenes, imbuing Agatha with his own magic, although he first tells Agatha, “don’t take everything”. Agatha gets back her purple magic and witch costumeand she exchanges spells with Death until she decides to give up Billy’s life to save her own. However, Billy communicates with Agatha via telepathy, and Agatha regrets her decision.
Billy is the second person to survive Agatha Harkness’s magic-absorbing abilities. Powerful witches like Alice Wu-Gulliver and Evanora Harkness were unable to reverse their spells after Agatha began absorbing their magic. In WandaVisionWanda Maximoff was able to stop and reverse Agatha’s power with the help of runes, as well as transforming into the legendary Scarlet Witch. The fact that Billy is able to stop Agatha from taking all of her power suggests that her magic is inherently more powerful than most magic users.

In the comics, Agatha Harkness dies at least twice. The first time, Nicholas Scratch sends Agatha to the stake for allegedly betraying her community. Agatha later comes back to life and begins training Wanda Maximoff. Not long after, Agatha believes that Agatha betrayed her by keeping her twin sons’ true nature a secret and kills her. However, Agatha returns as a ghost and guides Wanda along the Witches’ Road.

Nicholas Scratch’s Backstory and Death Finally Revealed

Agatha all the time Episode 9 begins with a flashback to Nicholas Scratch’s birth. According to the flashback, Agatha had a problematic pregnancy and Nicholas was doomed to die as soon as he was born. However, Agatha begged Death, and Death granted Agatha an indefinite period of time with her son. Agatha raised an ill but cheerful Nicholas for several years until the inevitable day arrived. While Agatha slept, Death came to take Nicholas with her.

Agatha then stole the witches’ magic and fled with her son. Agatha also created several covens over the decades, only to steal her fellow witches’ magic once they performed their inaugural ritual.
Before Agatha all the time, WandaVision showed how Agatha defended herself from her original clan, draining their magic to escape her punishment at the stake. WandaVisionThe flashback to Agatha’s origin portrayed her as the reluctant assassin of her own clan. Now, however, the Agatha all the time finale confirms that Agatha willingly assembled capes for the sole purpose of stealing their magic and killing them later.

When he returns home in Agatha all the time episode 8, Billy looks around and realizes that the Witch’s Road was actually based on elements from his room.. Billy also remembers that Agatha told him that he “say the same” like your mother. This line refers to WandaVision’s design for the hex Westview in WandaVisionbased on the TV shows Wanda watched as a child. The Witch’s Road shown in Agatha all the time it was based on Billy’s interests, but the Road existed long before Billy. Consequently, the Way of the Witches can adapt to the experiences of the individuals who seek it first.

Agatha then offers Billy to guide him in his search for the reincarnated Tommy. After all, Agatha has nothing left to lose.
In the comics, Agatha Harkness is able to return as a ghost both times she died. First, Agatha briefly appears to Wanda Maximoff in the form of a ghost to inform her of her own death. Later, after Wanda kills Agatha, Agatha returns to guide Wanda down the Witches’ Road, where they meet the previous Scarlet Witch, Natalya Maximoff, who brings Agatha back to life.
