Everything we know about Agatha throughout season two

Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Agatha throughout

The most surprising show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is over, with Agatha all the timeThe nine-episode series is coming to an end, but there’s more to come. Given as Agatha all the timeAs the finale teases Billy Maximoff’s ongoing story, it’s inevitable to wonder about the status of a potential second season.

While in the past MCU timeline releases have not used showrunners, the studio changed with its latest releases, naming WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer as showrunner of Agatha all the time. This move marks a change in strategy for the studio, which could very well point to the possibility of Agatha all the time Season 2, or something in its place, at least.

After ranking all of the MCU TV shows, it’s clear that the long-running series have been more successful for the studio. Show how Loki used several seasons to tell their stories and animations acclaimed as X-Men ’97 try to do the same. There is absolutely more to come Agatha all the timeThe excellent cast of – or those who survived, at least – it’s just a matter of when and how it will happen.

Agatha All Along season 2 has not been confirmed by Marvel

Only one season of the MCU series has been ordered (so far)

Despite Loki and And if…? with both receiving second seasons (and a third in the latter’s case), MCU shows tend to only have one season. The tide may be turning there, of course, with Daredevil: Born Again optional for two seasons, but that means very little to Agatha all the time. Crucially, the WandaVision the spin-off was a success, both in terms of ratings and number of viewers, and successful – especially given the lower cost supposedly associated with Agate – always generates trust.

As it stands, no official plans have been revealed for Agatha all the time season 2. The show was greenlit as a single-season entity, as WandaVision before him, and the next Vision questionThe series was widely considered to be the third installment in the Scarlet Witch saga of TV shows. The details of this project so far – and notably, the return of James Spader’s Ultron, don’t necessarily fit where Agatha all the timeThe finale is coming, so it definitely feels like something more is coming.

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer said she has no plans for a Young Avengers project, but Billy and Agatha going off in search of Tommy’s reincarnated soul at the end could very well be the biggest hint as to how Agatha all the time continues. Most likely, this would be a replacement project, with both characters returning.

Agatha All Along Season 2 Cast: Who Could Return?

The first season was a bloodbath, but the main players could still return

Agatha all the time was not only one of Marvel’s scariest properties, but also one of its bloodiest, with several main characters dying along the way. Several members of Agatha’s new clan were killed – including Agatha herself, Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon, Ali Ahn’s Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Patti LuPone’s Lilia Calderu – but Joe Locke’s Billy Maximoff, Sasheer Zamata’s Jennifer Kale, and Rio Vidal by Aubrey Plaza did it. .

Agatha, of course, lives as a ghost and apparently establishes a new dynamic where she becomes Billy’s guide on the road to find his missing brother, Tommy. His soul not being collected by Death could see Rio Vidal return to the game as well, and the character’s popularity and Plaza’s performance suggest that would be a good decision.

Jennifer Kale’s next steps are less certain: she regains her powers when she is freed, but immediately flees Westview with an almost comical lack of regard for Billy, and her return could go either way at this stage. It’s not like she owes Billy anything after he put her in mortal danger.

Agatha All Along Season 2 Story: How the Ending Sets Up the Future

Agatha and Billy’s future could be more integrated into the Avengers stories

The seeds ofWandaVision have been firmly planted in the MCU and will continue to be explored in Vision Quest, if not the long-discussed Scarlet Witch solo project.Agatha all the time also sets up Billy’s future mission to find his twin brother Tommy, who was reincarnated in episode 8 in the body of another teenager who dies in a prank gone wrong. Billy has a vision of this happening, but it’s only in flashes, so the next step in the story is finding out where Tommy’s soul ended up.

Billy will also be able to count on Agatha as his guide, after she sacrificed herself to spare him from Death in the penultimate episode. He then essentially forces her to agree to accompany him, as the pair leave Westview behind entirely. It already looks like this is setting up a version of Marvel’s Avengers: The Children’s Crusade, seeing as how Billy and Tommy’s stories will have to reckon with the legacy of Scarlet Witch and their relationship. Presumably, it won’t be a pure adaptation, because many elements would have to change, but certain broad strokes could still work in the MCU.

Elsewhere,Vision Mission will certainly accompany the seeds left by WandaVision, and possibly also Ágatha all the time, and there is a chance that Billy and Agatha will appear in this series. It seems unlikely that Vision’s story won’t circle back to the fate of his children, potentially furthering the story of magic and Wanda Maximoff in the MCU. And although there have been rumors of a possible return of Scarlet Witch in the MCU, Agatha all the time surprisingly avoided a direct configuration.
