Toy story helped launch Pixar as a titan of the animation world, and best of all Toy story Quotes throughout the franchise showcase the humor and essence of these films. The story of Woody, Buzz and the other toys in Andy’s room has captured the hearts of fans, delivering four films to date with the unexpected announcement of Toy Story 5 proves that Pixar is reluctant to abandon this franchise. It’s not surprising that they want more, given the Toy story quotes that stuck with fans and made these films so beloved.
The simple premise of exploring what toys do when humans aren’t around is a fun starting point. However, the films went much further in observing the enemies-to-friends relationship between Woody and Buzz, dealing with a child who outgrows their toys and the purpose those toys have in the world. The best Toy story the quotes reflect all of these aspects of the films, leaving the audience laughing and crying along the way. The next Toy Story 5 it will only increase these large franchise lines.

“Panic is attacking me.”
Rex (Wallace Shawn)
Rex has always been a fun and relatable part of Toy story franchise. He’s a toy that looks like a fearsome dinosaur, and yet he’s one of the most eager toys of the bunch. Rex has a hard time adapting to the changes that happen as the children around him grow, and he often talks about this a lot with the other toys.
In Toy Story 4Rex gives this line as a way to explain his stress about the new wave of changes the toys are facing. For many children, this phrase will simply be a fun way for Rex to relate his feelings. For a large number of children, however, this line will be an excellent way to explain how they feel when they face changes or upheavals in their own lives. Adults will recognize the impending “panic attack” that children will not.
29
“One more tear and Andy is done with me.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
If the original Toy story sees Woody worried that another toy might be more interesting than he is, Toy Story 2 helps him realize that the problem isn’t necessarily the more interesting toys. In the second film, when he gets slightly bruised after Andy plays with him, Andy chooses to leave him behind at home rather than fix him at one point. That one moment in the film makes Wood think that if he’s damaged enough, Andy just won’t want him anymore.
As the films show, this is not the case, as Andy has a special place in his heart for Woody, who is possibly his favorite toy. All the joy Woody felt in caring for Andy as he grew up, however, is thrown into doubt when Woody fears that a damaged limb or a tear in his clothes could cause Andy to leave him behind forever. It’s a sad thought for Woody and the audience.
28
“I have a question. No. Wait. I have all the questions.
Trixie (Kristen Schaal)
Although the later Toy story The films appeal so much to modern adults who grew up watching the first ones as children, all of the films in the franchise are made for families to watch together. This means that even though the emotional moments touch adults’ hearts, there is a natural wonder and curiosity in the characters that appeals to children. This is part of the character Trixie, a triceratops introduced in the third film.
Much like Rex, Trixie also shows some anxiety about the changes in toys. Your curiosity and your anxiety combine to create this specific line. These traits combine when Trixie and the other toys come across the new Forky toy in Toy Story 4a toy made from a plastic fork that Bonnie creates at school. The toys don’t really know what to do with Forky, and the new toy makes many of them uncomfortable.
27
“Yes, I would like to loosen the stitching.”
Stealth (Blake Clark)
…one of the most creative insults in the franchise.
There may be some animosity between the toys, especially Buzz and Woody, as they are very different from each other. When Lotso is introduced into Toy Story 3however, the toy brings out animosity in toys that would otherwise normally behave much calmer.
Slinky the dog is one of those toys. Slinky is always one of the friendliest toys of the bunch. He is also often optimistic, ready to see the bright side when everyone else might be worried. That’s why it’s very disarming for the audience to hear Slinky talk badly about another toy. He, however, sees something sinister in Lotso and is quick to admit when Lotso is out of earshot that he would “I like to loosen the stitching,” which is certainly one of the most creative insults used in the franchise.
26
“I’m always sure.”
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen)
This specific line comes from Buzz Lightyear toys in various Toy story films. Originally, it is not said by Buzz Lightyear that fans will meet throughout the franchise. Instead, it is said by the toy representing the original Buzz in Toy Story 2.
The line comes from the Big Al’s Toy Barn impersonator when the group of toys are trying to enter Big Al’s house through the air vents. Rex questions whether “Buzz” is sure about where they should be going, and of course, the ever-confident Buzz Lightyear delivers the line.
The reason it’s so memorable is because shows the confidence that all versions of Buzz have. It is also used again in the film Light year. The film may not have been a theatrical success, but it gave an interesting look at the character the toys are based on. There, the astronaut refuses help with the line, “I’m Buzz Lightyear. I’m always sure”, demonstrating where the toy modeled his confidence from.
25
“Then play nice.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
The whole Toy story the franchise has Woody and the others do everything they can to hide the fact that they are alive. However, they break this rule once special to teach teenage villain Sid a lesson. In the first film, Sid takes his toys and breaks many of them to create new monstrosities.
He uses things like fireworks to blow up other toys. This quote happens when the toys show that they are real beings with feelings and that they can feel pain and hurt and set out to prove something to Sid.
Many fans pointed out that Sid did nothing wrong when he destroyed his toys, as to him they were just plastic objects. That doesn’t stop this moment from being more satisfying, as Sid’s abused toys suddenly rise from the grave, with Woody giving this final warning that seems to make my point clear. It’s a horrible moment and one that possibly scarred young Sid forever.
24
“Ride like the wind Bullseye.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
Toy Story 2 presented Woody’s Roundup, the western show where Toy storywhere Woody originated from. Also introduced was his Roundup gang, which includes the lovable and loyal horse named Bullseye.
Woody is full of pride and admiration as he sees himself in action in the beloved children’s series and, in a charming moment at the end, adopts his catchphrase from the series, “Ride like the wind, Bullseye”, as he and his trusty horse spring into action.
Although the popularity of Woody’s Roundup is gone, Woody becomes that cowboy hero in his own way. It’s a cool moment because Woody never knew anything about his past, just focusing on his life with Andy. The fact that he realizes his character’s history is a cool moment and the fact that he finally gets to experience that moment is something that really helps his character develop, leading to his eventual ability to become independent in the fourth film.
23
“The Claw!”
Aliens (Jeff Pidgeon)
Alien toys are introduced in the first Toy story film like a group of cult franchise awards inside the Pizza Planet claw machine. The way toys look at claw as a higher power Who selects the chosen ones is a hilarious part of the worldbuilding in this universe.
The way the aliens exclaim this in unison makes it even funnier. However, the joke gets a wonderful payoff later in the franchise. It is the aliens who save Woody and the others from their fiery fate in Toy Story 3 with a crane, proudly declaring “The Claw!” as they save the day.
The ways later Toy story Movies cleverly evoke moments like this, making them a joy for older fans. The juxtaposition between the aliens looking at the claw as a superior power to the point of controlling it is a small moment that shows the toys growing and becoming more important as the series progresses.
22
“Where is your son now, Sheriff!”
Lotso (Ned Beatty)
There are some great Toy story villains throughout the franchise, but the most detestable is easily Lotso, the cuddly teddy bear who is also a cruel and vengeful antagonist. After being replaced by his former son, Lotso doesn’t want anyone to be happy with his son.
He ends up in the dump with Woody and the others, and despite proving how evil he already is, Woody saves his life. It seems Lotso may be heading towards redemption as he has the opportunity to save others, but instead mocks Woody and leaves them to be destroyed.
It’s a shockingly dark moment that cemented him as a great Disney villain. This is also a very sad moment because it shows that Lotso was ruined so many years before I was rejected, cast aside and neglected. When Woody was discarded, he fought to get back to his son. For Lotso, he simply gave up and became the villain of his own story.
21
“And that box is taken away.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
The relationship between Woody and Bo Peep was a fun little detail in the other films, but it became much more significant in Toy Story 4. The film’s opening scene shows how important Bo Peep is to Woody, as there is a flashback to the day she was given away.
When Woody comes out to talk to her while she waits in the box to be taken away, She suggests he enter the box too. For a moment, Woody considers joining her and leaving Andy. It’s a heartbreaking moment, as his responsibilities to Andy have to come before his love for her.
It is also another worrying moment that these toys, although they are intelligent and have a life of their own to live on their own, are at the mercy of children (and parents) who control where they live, even if it is dark. , moldy attic. For Bo Peep, she offers Woody a way out, but he still wouldn’t have freedom even if he went with her.
20
“You’re my favorite deputy.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
Pull Woody’s string and the toy will shout a variety of phrases. One Toy story quote that has been repeated throughout the franchise is “You are my favorite deputy.” It’s a simple phrase that would have been chosen by the toy cowboy manufacturer. However, within the context of the story, it has a much greater meaning.
It’s a saying that includes children in Woody’s world and allows them to feel loved. Initially, this creates a bond between Woody and Andy, before Bonnie discovers that she now has the new deputy in town.
Woody takes his place as Andy’s protector in the Toy story franchise
Woody takes his place as Andy’s protector in the Toy story franchise, and it’s probably because he’s heard this quote so many times, and even Andy understands that it means Woody is in charge. It shows who the true leader is, even if Woody still has a lot to learn about himself before the franchise ends with him.
19
“I can’t stop Andy from growing up, but I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
Andy’s appearance changes throughout the Toy story films and their feelings towards toys have also evolved over time. Nothing resonated more than young adult Andy going off to college and saying goodbye to his friends – the toys who spent so much time with him. Woody is very concerned about the changes that are happening in Toy Story 3, but he makes a point of saying “I can’t stop Andy from growing up, but I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
It’s a touching moment that paints this team as a family. Woody has grown a lot since the first film. He has learned that he can share Andy’s love with Buzz and also understands that the day will come when Andy will no longer need them. Andy is growing up and Woody is self-aware enough to understand that it was his job to help along the way, but like parents, one day the time will come to let go and watch Andy fend for himself.
18
“I don’t believe this man ever went to medical school.”
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen)
Sid was the main antagonist of the original Toy story. He was a terrifying Pixar creation, who tortured and destroyed toys as a hobby. Woody and Buzz were trapped in their house, awaiting their grim fate, so a moment of levity in the script is needed to add some humor to the situation. After watching Sid’s disturbing experiments, Buzz comments that “I don’t believe this man ever went to medical school.”
It’s a hilarious moment that eliminates some of the tension, although the reality of the situation effectively sets in after that. Toy story quote. This is also a funny moment because it shows how much Buzz has to learn about the real world. Because he was one of the last to understand that it was a toy, he looked at everything logically and without imagination. When he makes this comment about a child it’s funny, but it also shows that Buzz isn’t ready to survive in the real world yet.
17
“It was cold and dark. Nothing but sand and some Lincoln logs.”
Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles)
Toy Story 3 sees the gang venture to Sunnyside Daycare, where they quickly learn that playing isn’t always fun. Some of the younger children simply didn’t know how to take good care of their toys, and Mr. Potato Head realizes the horror of the situation in a funny moment. After disappearing for some time, Mr. Potato Head reveals that he was left behind in the sandbox.
He describes his harrowing experience as being “cold and dark. Nothing but sand and some Lincoln logs.” Of course, those who pay attention You’ll know they probably weren’t Lincoln’s records. This is a moment that shows how scary it can be when a toy is left behind, as Mr. Potato Head has no idea if he will be saved. However, as these films need to add humor to offset the scary moments, the joke about what he saw in the sandbox was added, and this really helps lighten the mood.
16
“You saved our lives. We are forever grateful.”
Aliens (Jeff Pidgeon)
Some of the most memorable supporting characters in the Toy story movies are space aliens. Introduced in the first film as toys in Pizza Planet’s crane machine, they reappear in Toy Story 2 when Mr. Potato Head saves their lives.
The gratitude spoken in unison to the savior is funny enough, as it shows that the aliens are just as delusional as Buzz in the first film, but the fact that they keep repeating their thanks over and over adds to the hilarity.
However, the joke gets even funnier in Toy Story 3set years later, when they are still thanking Mr. Potato Head. Later, when the aliens save everyone else with their claws, they show that they are more than willing to return the favor. This is another moment in the series where the toys grow and develop as characters, understanding their place in the world and knowing that they play a big role in their own existence.
15
“She’ll be fine.”
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen)
The last goodbye between Woody and Buzz in Toy Story 4 It’s a very beautiful moment. Woody is about to leave Bo Peep behind and join the rest of Bonnie’s toys in the trailer when Buzz tells him, “She will be fine.”
Bonnie will be fine without him
For a second, Woody and the audience think Buzz is talking about Bo Peep, but then Buzz adds, “Bonnie will be fine.”He can see that Woody’s place is with Bo, and Bonnie will be fine without him, so he encourages his old friend to follow his heart.
Toy Story 4 It’s a love story between Woody and Bo Peep in many ways and Buzz allows them to have a happy ending. This is the biggest moment in Woody’s transition from a toy who only exists to take care of his son to a toy who realizes his job is done when Andy goes to college and he can finally start living for himself. The movies aren’t just about kids giving up toys, they’re about parents watching their kids grow up. Soon, it’s time to let go, and Woody realizes the time is now.
14
“I’m trash!”
Forky (Tony Hale)
The existential crisis faced by the incredibly quotable Forky in Toy Story 4 is one of the most elevated and philosophical stories in the franchise. When Bonnie glues googly eyes and pipe cleaner arms to a fork and calls him “Forky,” he gains sentience like a toy. However, he is not supposed to be sentient. He shouldn’t have thoughts.
And that alone is enough to terrify you, like Forky accepts his own existence and it makes sense to be more than just a piece of trash. This moment adds a deeper meaning to the Toy story quote.
The franchise starts with toys that children love and care for, and the toys care for children. They are toys, but this changes the subject and makes a child create a toy that shouldn’t be a toy, and they have no idea what life is about. Forky’s story also shows that someone can change into something different later in life, and at that point people just need to accept that they are who they are now. Forky is no longer trash. He’s a toy.
13
“See you later, partner.”
Woody (Tom Hanks)
While Toy Story 4 has a story worth telling and concluded in a truly moving way, it didn’t overcome the bittersweet emotion of Toy Story 3is ending. As Andy leaves his toys with Bonnie and heads off to begin his college studies, Woody watches his son’s car disappear over the horizon and says: “See you later, partner.”
It’s a really moving moment that ended the Toy story saga (seemingly) in the perfect way. Of course, with news from Toy Story 5Looks like this wasn’t the end after all. Woody spent his entire life with a purpose. He was Andy’s favorite toy.
Woody realized that Andy was growing up and no longer needed care.
He had to be by her side through all the difficult times of her childhood and was a comforting asset to a child growing into a young adult. However, Woody soon realized that Andy was growing up and no longer needed care. It was time to let him go and Woody said goodbye to him. Again, this parallels parents who lost their children but let them go and watched them become adults in their own right.
12
“Let’s go Caboom!”
Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves)
Arguably the most memorable new character added to the Toy story The set from last year’s fourth installment – except maybe Forky – is Duke Caboom. He is voiced by Keanu Reeves, who actually contributed a lot of ideas to the Toy story character’s personality. He is an Evel Knievel-type daredevil toy on a stunt motorcycle who is filled with remorse for being unable to perform the stunts his commercials promised he could do.
At the end of the film, he proves his worth by making an incredible leap to save the day. There are many moments in the franchise where fans can watch their favorite characters grow and develop and find their true purpose. For Duke Caboom, he only gets one movie, and in his little screen time, Duke is able to do the same thing Woody did in four movies. He finally discovered his place and was finally able to do what he never dreamed possible.
11
“He is not lost. No more.”
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen)
When Woody leaves the group to stay with Bo Peep at the amusement park, Buzz breaks the news to the rest of the gang. Rex asks if this means that Woody is a lost toy – which the sheriff thought would be the worst thing in the world in the first film – and Buzz says, in a more symbolic way: “He is not lost. No more.”
This suggests a finality to Woody’s arc in the franchise, allowing him to find his own purpose in life beyond being just a toy and find something he always wanted. This is a touching moment, as since the first film, Woody has taken on the responsibility of keeping all the toys together for Andy and, later, Bonnie.
If a toy gets lost, Woody decides to find it and bring it back. He taught all his friends the same lessons – no toy is left behind. However, Buzz understands that things are different this time. Woody is not lost as he has finally found his purpose after Andy. Just like Woody let Andy go, Buzz won’t let Woody go.
