Farming the Ascension and Talent materials for Chasca in Genshin Impact It’s the first step to fully unlocking her potential as a primary Anemo DPS in team compositions and a necessary step to making her viable. Chasca is a new playable character introduced in version 5.2 along with Ororonboth with important roles in Natlan’s story arc. Because of version 5.2 leaks, players could pre-farm Chasca materials in Genshin Impactalthough they were still subject to change during beta testing of the patch. Current materials are still based on leaks, but they are more reliable.
Chasca is a 5-star bow user who can supposedly fly with her Nightsoul Transmission mechanic and use it to use normal and charged attacks on enemies. In some ways, she is very similar to Wanderer, as both of her goals are to deal as much damage as possible through her regular attacks while flying. Chasca can also serve as an exploration resource thanks to its flightwhich can help you reach new heights and move quickly around the map. Before taking advantage of its advantages, however, you must cultivate Chasca’s materials and fully ascend her into Genshin Impact.
Ascension materials to farm Chasca in Genshin Impact
Some items could not be pre-farmed before the character’s release
To begin your farming efforts in search of Chasca’s Ascension materials, you will need to obtain Turquoise Vayuda stones, as she is an Anemo character. These and other materials for her were listed by World of honey hunters. Turquoise Vayuda Stones mainly drop from Anemo-aligned bossessuch as Stormterror, Solitary Suanni, Setekh Wenut, Anemo Hypostasis and Tenebrous Pailla: Type I boss in Genshin Impact. Defeating the Tenebrous Papila boss in 5.2 and later is the best option out of all the bosses listed for the Vayuda Turquoise stones because it drops another important Ascension material for Chasca.
The table below lists all the materials needed in Chasca’s Rise, broken down by level cap and condensed at the end:

The next material listed by Honey Hunter World is precisely the main boss drop from Tenebrous Papila. By defeating the boss you can get the item called Ensnaring Gaze. You don’t need many copies of this item, but you will need to beat Tenebrous Papila a few times to farm everything needed. Since the boss was not available in the game before version 5.2, Ensnaring Gaze could not be pre-farmed. Therefore, players who wish to farm this material need to wait for the new boss to be released in the same patch as Chasca’s release in Genshin Impact.
Chasca’s Ascension materials list also includes an item called Withering Purpurbloom. This is a local specialty added with version 5.2 and the new Natlan map areas contained therein. On World of honey huntersWithering Purpurbloom is said to appear in an area called Ochkanatlan. As a local specialty, Withering Purpurbloom respawns every 48 hours in real life after being obtained on the map.
The final set of materials needed in the Chasca Ascension process is made up of Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang and Tyrant’s Fang. These three materials, which are part of the same item family, are obtained from Saurian enemies throughout Natlan. They are easy to obtain considering the number of Saurian enemies, which can be found on the official interactive map at HoYoLAB.
Lastly, you will also need Mora to fuel the Ascension processes. To surpass all level caps, you will need 420,000 Mora, and if you are leveling up Chasca with character EXP materials, you will need an extra 1,637,400 Mora to get her to level 90. Mora can always be farmed in Blossom of Wealth activities. If you farm Mora, which is also consumed at a high rate with Chasca’s talents, be sure to challenge Blossoms of Wealth in Natlan. You can face Saurian enemies, which will help you farm Fang materials in Genshin Impact.
Talent materials to farm for Chasca in Genshin Impact
All of these items can be pre-grown
While her Ascension must take precedence, leveling up Chasca’s Talents is equally important to unlocking her potential. As previously mentioned, Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang are listed among the various materials used in Chasca’s Talents, but you will need a much larger amount here than on your Ascension. As always, defeat the Saurian enemies in Natlan to farm these materials.
The table below lists all the materials needed to max out all three of Chasca’s Talents in Genshin Impact:

The Talent books used by Chasca, as shown in Honey Hunter World, are the Conflict books. Teachings of Conflict, Guide to Conflict, and Philosophies of Conflict can be obtained from the Domain of Burning Ruins in Natlan, but only on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For reference, these are the same materials for Kachina in Genshin Impact. A large number of Conflict books will be consumed to maximize Chasca’s talents, so you will likely spend days cultivating the Burning Ruins Domain.
As seen in Honey Hunter World, the weekly boss material consumed by Chasca is Silken Feather. This item can be obtained by defeating the Knave boss in Genshin Impact. The Silken Feather drop is not guaranteed, as Knave can also provide players with two other talent materials. Along with a Dream Solvent, you can turn these other materials into Silken Feather in an Alchemy Table. Chasca will also need three Crowns of Insight, one for each Talent. These rare materials can be obtained through limited-time events, reputation systems, and Paimon Bargains.
Lastly, upgrading Chasca’s talents will require a lot of Mora. To fully level your skills, you will consume almost 5 million Mora. As usual, you can farm Mora in the Blossom of Wealth activities in Teyvat, although it is recommended to farm the currency in Natlan to farm other Natlan materials in the process.
Overall, the farming materials for Chasca are quite simple. With the exception of two items that couldn’t be pre-farmed before their release, the rest have been available in the game for some time and it’s likely that you already have a stockpile of them. The sooner you start farming her materials, the quicker you can start working on building Chasca. Genshin Impact and then use her as your new main DPS.
