Terrifier 3 neglected a serious death and none of the characters reacted to it

Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Terrifier 3!Terrifying 3 includes many deaths, but the film’s decision to kill Uncle Greg is by far the most overlooked, as there is no reaction from the other characters. The film features Sienna’s extended family as she goes to spend the Christmas holiday with them. Aunt Jess, Uncle Greg and their daughter Gabbie find themselves in danger due to their association with Sienna when Art the Clown and Vicky return for their revenge. When the time comes Terrifying 3At the end of the episode, the family is torn apart by multiple deaths – including that of Uncle Greg.

The fate of Sienna’s family members is the focus of the finale. Gabbie dies a fake death before Art and Vicky reveal that she is still alive, while Aunt Jess dies tied to a chair while rats are forced down her throat through a tube. There is then the revelation that Jonathan died in Terrifying 3or at least that’s what Art and Vicky want her to believe. These developments are what the film chooses to focus on, and this means that the film and its characters largely ignore that Uncle Greg is also dead.

Uncle Greg dies off-screen in Terrifier 3 while waiting for Jonathan

His body was found in his home

Just as Jonathan died off-screen, Terrifying 3 gives Uncle Greg the same treatment upon his death. He was last seen alive at Jonathan’s college while waiting to pick him up and he calls the phone to talk to him. However, her nephew’s answers are a little off, suggesting that it could be Vicky speaking and replicating her voice just like the Little Pale Girl did before. The audience doesn’t get the chance to see Greg’s death, but Terrifying 3 leaves no doubt about his fate by showing the remains of his body.

Greg’s body hangs prominently on the wall of his home. He is completely naked and open, and his head has been cut off. Art decides to use Greg’s head as tree cover, giving Sienna, Jess, and Gabbie multiple opportunities to view his remains as the third act unfolds. In fact, it is Greg’s body that Art shoves Sienna’s face into one of the Terrifying 3most disgusting moments. So even though the movie refrains from showing exactly how Greg was killedhe is still between Terrifying 3the brutal deaths.

No one reacts to Uncle Greg’s death in Terrifier 3

His wife, daughter and niece do not mourn him

Uncle Greg certainly wasn’t the best of the new characters and could be more annoying than helpful, but the way other characters react to his death is still surprising. This is because there is practically no reaction from them. The closest the film comes to making the characters recognize that Uncle Greg has died is by making it one of the first things Sienna sees when she wakes up. However, Sienna wastes no time processing this death as her focus turns to Aunt Jess.who is still alive and sitting in front of her at the moment.

Greg’s bad attitude towards Sienna doesn’t completely absolve her of having no emotional reaction to his death. It’s even worse, though, that Aunt Jess and Gabbie have little to no response to their husband or father being brutally murdered and exposed in this way. Aunt Jess’s lack of emotion is possibly more forgivable, as she could have mourned him before Sienna regained consciousness after witnessing Art and Vicky tidying up his body. Gabbie, on the other hand, is completely concerned about the fate of her mother and Sienna rather than acknowledging that her father is dead.

Uncle Greg’s death was overshadowed by the fate of other characters

He’s the least of your worries

Tragically for Uncle Greg, his death was overshadowed in Terrifying 3 by the lingering fates of other characters. Since the film bluntly confirms his death, it’s easy for the audience and characters to move on. The reality is that whether Aunt Jess and Sienna would live and whether Gabbie or Jonathan were already dead took precedence at the moment. There was no time for the film, its viewers, or the characters to really digest Uncle Greg’s death, making it an easy-to-forget moment overall.

It’s difficult to be too critical of the other characters and their lack of reaction to Greg’s death due to this fact. He was already dead and there was nothing they could do to undo it.. However, it is still unknown whether Sienna, Jess and Gabbie survived that night. They had to focus on getting out alive, even if they didn’t succeed in every case, instead of dwelling on the fact that Uncle Greg died. And with Jess now dead and Gabbie left in Hell, there are dwindling opportunities for future episodes to do justice to Greg’s death after Terrifying 3.
