That said, Linke’s comments may have already revealed what potential stories could come next Arcane. Following the apparent death of her daughter Mel at the end of Season 1, Ambessa will have a larger role in Arcane season 2.

As such, Ambessa could be the gateway to future stories set in the kingdom of Noxus. If Ambessa survives the events of Arcane in season two, she could lead an exploration of her home country in future shows centering on League of Legends characters like Darius, Draven, Swain, Riven, and Katarina, to name just a few.

Vi and Jinx will be two characters from Arcane who likely won’t appear in future projects, as his story is an integral part of the show and will likely end with it.
