Deadpool & Wolverine’s Leslie Uggams reveals how Blind Al feels about Logan moving in with her and Wade

Deadpool & Wolverine Actress Leslie Uggams unpacked how she thinks her character Blind Al would react to Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) bringing Logan (Hugh Jackman) home with him. The end of the movie saw Deadpool welcoming Wolverine and X-23 (Dafne Keen) into his life – and presumably Blind Al. At New York Comic Con, she hilariously reacted in character when discussing whether Al would like Wolverine to move into their one-bedroom apartment. The actress said:

My best moments are with Wade, or Deadpool, so I’m kind of jealous of other people. I have to say Wolverine is okay, but Wade was my guy. This is my guy! A little jealousy goes there. – You take too much of his time. He is good. I mean, there’s nothing better in the world than Deadpool and the relationship, so she’s like the mama in a way. He can tell you anything and everything like that, and they like to child so well.

She elaborated that Logan was “Kind of in the way, but it’s okay because he’s good.” Uggams has blind al”Can not complain about the muscles“and that”He is a good-looking man.” The Deadpool & Wolverine Star’s explanation is equal parts funny and accurate to the characters. Also, the end of the film reads a little differently after reading what she had to say.

Uggams comments leave two main takeaways Deadpool & Wolverine: That Logan moves in with Wade and that Blind Al probably has both a rivalry with and an attraction to him. Her hilarious response indicates that Blind Al really does love Wade on a maternal level. As a result, she is not a huge fan of Wolverine to take the attention from her. despite this, Blind Al has a bit of a crush on Loganwith Uggams quipping”Blind Al, she may be blind, but she is not dead!“Although Uggams is clearly joking, her insights into how Blind Al feels about Logan are fun.

In addition to discussing Blind Al’s relationship with Logan, Uggams also revealed how she felt about working with Jackman for the first time. She said he was “An incredible actor, but he’s also an incredible person. The actress went on to explain:

When we were first on the set, he wanted to know about my career working with Ella Fitzgerald and people like that. This is what we talked about most of the time. He would say, “Oh my God, you worked with Ella, and you worked with Louis [Gossett Jr.]”And things like that. So, we had a nice report. And he’s so good at it. So good!

Uggam’s kind words paint a beautiful picture of what filming is all about Deadpool & Wolverine With Jackman was like. Hopefully, this bodes well for the actress’ return to any future Deadpool Sequels.

Blind Al is a fun counterpart to Wade, and seeing more of her dynamic with Logan would be a blast. The comedy potential drips off of Uggam’s comments, and another film with Deadpool and Wolverine could take full advantage. With the film’s success, it’s hard to imagine a world where we don’t get more of Reynolds’ Deadpool, which means we might as well see Blind Al. Deadpool & Wolverine Available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, YouTube Movies & TV, Google Play and Fandango At Home, it will debut on Disney+ later this year.
