Michael is from Nigeria and approached Angela on social media in 2017. Angela and Michael got engaged despite her finding out he cheated on her. However, Angela could never trust Michael and even stopped Michael from going to work. Michael had to rely on Angela for money, although he kept some money in a piggy bank for rainy days.

Miguel has been posting about his new life in America on social media. His latest Instagram Stories showed Michael a glass-bottom pool with stunning views of Houston. It's where Michael has lived since leaving Angela's house in Georgia. The pool is at the top of the Market Square Tower, where Michael appears to have spent his Saturday morning. Michael didn't enter the acrylic pool, but walked around it, giving fans a 360-degree tour, perhaps before taking a dip. He used Mohbad’s song “Feel Good” to describe his experience.

When Michael left Angela, he made it look like he was missing. Angela was extremely worried about Michael, who had disappeared without a trace. Even their security cameras didn't have any footage of Michael. Once Angela notified the police about Michael and told fans to help her look for him, Michael approached authorities and asked them not to tell Angela their location. However, Michael only posted about his new home – Texas – on social media.

Michael also launched his new influencer career in America. He seems to be making money from social media, but at the same time, he received a lot of financial help from fans when he started a fundraiser. Miguel raised almost $53,000 from fans saying they needed money for his case. Angela has dragged Michael to court, where she wants the marriage to be annulled and for him to be sent back to Nigeria. However, Michael doesn't seem worried about being deported. A year after coming to the US, he is well settled now.
