Mary Demasu-ay and Brandan DeNuccio’s relationship had a lot of red flags. They were too young to get married and too immature to start a family together. Although they were both a terrible match for each other, Mary’s controlling personality made her behavior seem worse on the 90 Day Fiance spin off. She called Brandan names during minor disagreements and treated him badly, going so far as to forbid him from looking at other women in church. Mary manipulated Brandan’s love for her, emotionally blackmailing him into giving her money to buy a house in the Philippines.

Angela had many opportunities to end the relationship and leave Michael, but instead, she chose to confront him and abuse him on 90 Day Fiance cameras for almost seven years.

Jasmine Pineda is one of the franchise’s greatest emotional manipulators. She professes her love for Gino Palazzolo, but only mocks him publicly.
