Marty McFly must step on a million different butterflies during his trip to 1955 Back to the future. The biggest consequences of Marty’s time travel are revealed by Back to the futureThe ending of – his father’s success as an author, his parents’ happy marriage, Biff waxing cars for a living, etc. Back to the futurelots of Easter eggs, like Twin Pines Mall becoming Lone Pine Mall.
Still, Marty hardly keeps a low profile in 1955, interacting with a variety of people in various locations. According to the principle of the butterfly effect, Marty’s impact in 1985 is almost certainly more far-reaching than Back to the future reveals.

Did Marty accidentally popularize skateboarding?
An influential figure might see Marty’s skating display
One of Marty McFly’s most obvious stunts in 1955 involves converting a child’s scooter into a skateboard and gliding through Hill Valley like a teenage Tony Hawk before a crowd of amazed spectators. To any advertising or toy industry executive in attendance, skateboarding’s potential would have been obvious.
Skateboarding existed in some form before the 1950s, so it would be a stretch to argue that Marty invented the sport in Back to the futurethe iconic chase scene. Commercial skateboards, however, only began to appear in the late 1950s, so Marty’s exciting demonstration could have easily accelerated the development of skateboarding in a popular toy in the United States.

Did the Peabody family continue to believe they saw a real alien?
The Peabody Family Could Be One of Back to the Future’s Hidden Tragedies
One of Back to the futureThe unaddressed subplots concern the Peabody family. Lost pine aside, Back to the future it never reveals what happened to the farming clan after their ordeal on November 5, 1955. As far as the Peabodys are concerned, an alien ship carrying a pilot in a yellow suit has crashed into their barn. then disappeared, never to be seen again.
Farmer Peabody was scared enough to shoot the “alien” and it’s fascinating to ponder what the consequences would have been. Maybe the Peabodys became alien conspiracy theorists, selling their story to anyone who would listen. Perhaps children were inspired to pursue careers in astronomy. As a darker alternative, perhaps Marty McFly scared the Peabody family so much that none of them recovered psychologically.

Marty McFly also changed the future of Biff’s friends
Were Biff’s friends rescued?
Back to the future it never shows Biff’s group of followers in 1985, but Marty’s manipulation of time would have inevitably altered their lives. Put Back to the futureIn the end, the adult Biff goes from a luxurious office job, copying George McFly’s work, to waxing George’s car. Most importantly, Marty’s influence in the past means that Biff’s power has been taken away.
In Back to the futureIn the original timeline, Biff’s friends would probably have continued to follow him, but Biff’s fall from grace in the second timeline suggests his friends would have grown apartfinding their own identities instead of acting like sycophants. Rumor has it that one of them even appeared in the James Cameron film Titanic.

Doc Brown’s career must have improved thanks to Marty
Doc went ahead knowing his time travel experiment would work
Doc Brown knew the importance of not acting on his knowledge of the future. Seeing your future DeLorean in action, however, Doc Brown would have saved hours of work trying to figure out time travelsince his insight would negate the need to test new theories and doubt oneself.
Both Doc Browns are doing puzzles here, but the second one is looking at the photo on the box.
Just knowing that the flux capacitor would be successful must have given Doc Brown more time to develop other inventions. In contrast, its counterpart in Back to the futureThe unchanged schedule of would be working on the DeLorean with no guarantee that it would work. Both Doc Browns are doing puzzles here, but the second one is looking at the photo on the box.

Marty McFly’s influence on local politics
Did Marty push Goldie Wilson into politics before?
In Back to the futureIn 1985, Goldie Wilson serves as mayor of Hill Valley, but when Marty meets young Wilson in 1955, he is working as a busboy at a local diner. At this point, Wilson is determined to make something of himself, but gets a spark of inspiration when a shocked Marty shouts, “That’s right, he’s going to be mayor.”
Given that Goldie Wilson is mayor in Back to the futureIn the 1985 original, he evidently decided to pursue this career even without Marty’s influence. In the altered timeline, however, Marty apparently planted the idea of entering local politics in Wilson’s mind at an earlier time. Wilson may have started pursuing his dreams sooner thanks to Marty’s interventionand such a change could potentially cause a chain reaction in Hill Valley.

George McFly must have realized time travel was real
George McFly was a science fiction fanatic
Marty McFly’s parents ignore the uncanny resemblance between their son and his old high school friend, but George must discover that time travel is real in 1985. When Marty tries to scare his young father into facing his fears, he claims to be “Darth Vader“of the planet “Vulcan.” This incident – an alien making threats in his own room – would have been burned into George McFly’s brain for the rest of his life.
When Star Trek first aired in the 1960s and Star Wars premiere in 1977, George would find himself again both Vulcan and Darth Vader, and certainly make the connection to his 1955 nocturnal visitor. As an enthusiastic science fiction writer, George would naturally consider time travel to explain both the intruder in his room and the science fiction references. Combine this with how his old school friend looks a lot like his own son, George is well positioned to find out what really happened in Back to the future.

Back to the torn page of the phone book of the future
A small act could have had important consequences
No one can deny that Marty McFly made a mess in 1955, but he avoids leaving permanent destruction in the past. A notable exception is the diner’s phone book, from which Marty tears a page while searching for Doc Brown.
Marty’s influence on the timeline is potentially much greater than shown.
Marty apparently assumed that no one would miss a single page of the phone book between 1955 and 1985. But if, for example, a teenager in the 1950s needs to reschedule a date with his girlfriend, Emelie Brown, and the page with her number is missing, boyfriends can break up. Any children they might have had would cease to exist. There are countless other similar permutations of how the torn phone book potentially changes Back to the futurestory, proving that Marty’s influence on the timeline is potentially much greater than shown.
Marty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, maverick scientist Doc Brown. In 1955, he met his parents when they were his age and must intervene to ensure they stay together before returning to 1985.
