As always, it features a collection of winter-themed game modes (Winter Brawls), which include Mei's Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt, and Freeze Flash Elimination. Mei's Snowball Offensive features snowball fights in 5v5 and free-for-all formats. Yeti Hunt involves setting traps to capture a wandering cryptid. Freeze Flash Elimination works like freezing, but when players are knocked out, they can be unfrozen (read: revived) to return to the game.

• All heroes' health regeneration timers have been increased from five to seven seconds.
