A set of these films became another major franchise, and unfortunately, a group of his films will be leaving Netflix soon.

Four of Transformers the films are set to leave Netflix in just a few weeks. Existing on the IP of popular Hasbro toys, Bay directed the first Transformers film in 2007. It grossed an impressive $709.7 million worldwide, cashing in on its estimated $150 million budget. This box office total was good enough to allow Bay to make a sequel immediately, releasing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009. Revenge of the fallen performed even better than its predecessor at the box office, grossing $836.3 million and helping the franchise gain momentum.
In an unfortunate turn of events Transformers fans, What's on Netflix confirms that several Transformers the films will be leaving Netflix soon. These films are Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moonand Transformers: Age of Extinction. All of these titles were added to Netflix on December 1st, but will leave the platform on January 1st, 2025. This gives subscribers just over two weeks to continue watching the movies on Netflix before having to stream them elsewhere.

This news is unfortunate for both Netflix and Transformers fans, as the films had been doing well on Netflix since their release on the platform. The titles regularly appeared in the daily top 10 films in the United States, and Transformers it even made it into the top 10 movies on Netflix in the US for the week of December 2nd to 8th. As Netflix enters the holiday season, it can certainly fill the viewership void with some festive hits, but it can still sting to miss out. those Transformers films.
