In the epic world of Baldur’s Gate 3 There is a lot of loot to be found to fully equip the entire party. While some of this can be found in chests or from loot from fallen enemies, there are some great things to buy from the game’s many merchants. From unique armor and weapons to spell scrolls and potions, vendors can be a great source for amazing items in BG3.

From the beginning to the end of Baldur’s Gate 3There are amazing bargains to be had and fantastic gear to be found with the game’s various merchants. However, not all merchants are equal, and while the party should visit as many as they can for the best deals, some of the traders in BG3 are better than others. Whether because they have unique items that cannot be found anywhere else or because they will offer the best deals when selling the collected treasure of the party, these merchants are the best to keep an eye out for.

Mystic Carrion has goods for spellcasters
An unusual merchant worth checking out
Although Mystic Carrion is not the easiest merchant to run into Baldur’s Gate 3The hassle of getting to it tends to pay off. Found in Philgrave’s mansion, which the party does not exactly have permission to enter, this mummy Lord Cut a more intimidating figure than most traders.

The main point of entering Philgrave’s mansion is not doing business, but there is still some good loot to buy off of Mystic Carrion. If Halsin or Jaheira is in the party and following the Circle of the Spores, they can make great use of the Armor of the Sporekeeper

Is a powerful option for wizards or spellcasters in general. A fully martial party wouldn’t get much from stopping by Mystic CarrionHowever, and Philgrave’s Mansion is definitely one of the more situational shopping destinations overall.

Ferg Drogher is easy to miss
A merchant who does not sell his goods
Ferg Drogher can be found early in Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3Trading in the Rivington area, outside of the city proper. He’s definitely worth a visit if Shadow is in the party, but even if she isn’t, a look at his wares can be fruitful. Getting Ferg to sell his wares requires either having a Shar-loyal Shadow in the party or successfully rolling a Persuasion checkSo a bit of luck is involved in this case.
Ferg Drogher has some fantastic weapon options for several different purposes. The Cold snap
is a great dagger for those who need an off-hand powerhouse, the Dwarven thrower
is a Warhammer that is perfect for any character who would even have fun with something called a Dwarven Thrower, and the Hellrider Longbow

Araj Oblodra takes an unusual payment method
Blood may be as good as gold
Although Moonrise Towers can quickly become a very hostile place in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3It is possible to run through it peacefully when the party first arrives. The place is host to a number of NPCs worth meeting, and as far as merchants go, Araj Oblodra is one of the standouts.

Although Araj is not the best stop for general trade, it does offer a unique proposition. In exchange for the blood of true souls, she will make some powerful elixirs, and She is especially keen to get her hands on Astrion’s blood. Giving her the latter may not be worth it for those who care deeply about Astarion, as it clearly oversteps some of its boundaries, but checking out what she has to offer is a must.

Building strong relationships with merchants is a great way to get discounts Baldur’s Gate 3But that’s not something most parties will pursue across the board. With so many different shops on the table, working hard to win the favor of an individual trader is not always worthwhile. With Figaro Pennygood, however, there is an easy way to maximize affection and then get on the metric for favorable pricing.
Figaro Pennygood is one of the targets of the murders happening at Balaldur’s GateAnd saving his life is not surprisingly loved by the party. Figaro runs the clothing store known as the Facemaker’s Boutique, so while he may not have any weapons or potions for sale, he does provide a great one-stop shop for the fashion-conscious.

Lady Esther has some great magical things
The Rosymorn Monastery Trail should not be skipped
Lady Esther’s main role in Baldur’s Gate 3 Is her part in the Githyanki Egg side quest, but that’s not the only thing she has to offer in Act One. She is also a trader, and her limited supply includes some appealing magical items. Lady Esther can be found on the Rosymorn Monastery TrailWhich can be taken as an alternative path to the Underdark or revised in Act Two.

Volo will join the party camp in Baldur’s Gate 3 After being rescued from the goblins and will offer to help with the removal of the mind flyer parasite. If agreed to, Volo will do his best, leave, and give the unlucky patient Volo’s Ersatz eye before leaving.

These rare gloves allow the wearer to use a reaction to reduce incoming damage from ranged weapon attacks by 1d10 plus their Dexterity modifier. If the magical items he sells don’t tickle the fancy of the party, Arron also stocks plenty of potions, arrows, and camp supplies for the journey ahead.

Down in the Underdark, in the Myconid Colony, is an elite named Omelum who has been studying the area with their companion Blurrg. Omeluum will offer to help the party with their tadpole, and if the party completes the quest, they will offer to give the party a Ring of mind-shielding

Although it is possible to convince Omelum to give the ring, It is better to deal with themAs the mind flying scientist did some great things. In particular, the Pearl of Power Amulet
which lets the wearer restore a spell slot of third level or lower, and the Ring of Solving
which restores additional hit points each time the wearer heals others.

Lann Tarv offers the best value for money

Lann Tarv is a bugbear that can be found in Moonrise Towers in BG3Act 2. Lan is interesting as a merchant, because it is possible to increase his visit to the party to 100 by passing a skill check, therefore giving the best possible prices.

Meanwhile, the elven chain can be worn by any character, as it grants the wearer proficiency in medium armor, as well as a plus two to initiative rolls and advantage on Dexterity saving throws.

Skittle is a common merchant
Hard to find but worth the trip
Skittle is a merchant that only a few will encounter when playing BG3like He can only be found in Heapside Prison in a cell. However, Skittle is not a prisoner and is, in fact, a rat that can be talked to and traded using Talk to animals.
Skittle will speak in rat-based words and sell the key to Counting House Safe Number Two and the Elixir of Universal Resistance. The elixir does exactly what it sounds like and grants resistance to all damage for 10 rounds in combat, making it extremely useful in the final battle of BG3.

Can be found in all three axes
Roah Moonglow can be met during all three acts of baldur’s gate 3, And the gentile merchant has a big luck every time. In Act 1, Roah can be found in the Shattered Sanctum close to the Priestess Gut’s quarters, where, among other things, they sell the awesome. Bloody Great Ax

Highlights of Talli’s inventory are the Cloak of Protection, which gives a plus one to AC and saving throws, and The mighty fabric
which boosts the wearer’s strength by two as well as giving advantage to saving throws against restrained.

Dammon reappears with better gear each time
Try to keep the Tiefling Smith alive
Just like Roah Moonglow, the tiefling blacksmith Damon is a merchant that can be found throughout Baldur’s Gate 3 In all three axes. In each Act, Dammon adds to his inventory, eventually selling some of the best armor found in Act 3.
In Act 1, Damon can be found in the Emerald Grove with the other Tiefling refugees before moving on to the Last Light Inn for Act 2. Finally, in Act 3, Damon is working in the Forge of the Nine, assuming He survived the previous acts. Dammon is key to Karlach’s personal quest And can also make these Flawed Heldusk Armor
Set, one of the best mid-game sets, making him easily the best merchant to look into Baldur’s Gate 3.
