1000 Pound Sisters Season 6 is in full swing, and simmering tensions between Tammy Slaton and Amanda Halterman finally reach a boiling point during a Slaton family reunion. The beloved unscripted series, which premiered in 2020, chronicles the weight loss journeys of several members of the Slaton family. It mainly centers on 37-year-old Amy Slaton and 38-year-old Tammy Slaton, but several of their other siblings have gotten in on the weight-loss action, including 43-year-old Amanda.

She checked herself into a weight loss rehab center and while there, her home was broken into. When she got out of rehab, she moved into a house owned by her sisterAmanda. The sibling relationship is in trouble because Tammy thinks Amanda is a terrible landlord.

It’s a story as old as time. Tammy’s main complaint is that the house needs repairs that Amanda is not willing to pay for. During 1000 Pound Sisters Season 6, Tammy’s 45-year-old brother, Chris Combs, places a large piece of plastic over a broken window while Tammy complains about the poor condition of the place. Tammy claims that window was broken by one of Amanda’s adult childrenwho spend a lot of time at Tammy’s house, which is another reason Tammy thinks Amanda should pay.
