THE Wolverine
is a savage beast, hardened by years of war, torturous experiments, and the icy winds of Canada. While the founding X-Man’s retractable claws are often seen as his most dangerous feature, Wolverine is made of a little more stuff than that. In addition to his advanced healing factor and adamantium-infused bony claws, Wolverine had a few more powers than most people are aware of.
Wolverine, similar to Emma Frost or Nightcrawler, naturally has multiple mutations. His body evolved to be able to handle almost anything thrown at him. This includes maintaining the new power. Over the course of the comics, Wolverine has adopted many different powers, each transforming the savage killer into another beast. Some of the feats were instances, while others remained ambiguously permanent. Omnipotence
First seen in: The Uncanny X-Men Annual #11 by Chris Claremont, Alan Davis and Paul Neary
During the heyday of early Mysterious X-Men, the X-Men became the target of an alien mutant named Horde, who kidnapped the team so he could claim the Supreme Vision Crystal. When Wolverine confronts the mutant, the Horde rips out Logan’s heart. In this case, a drop of Wolverine’s blood touches the crystal, regenerating an entirely new body. In doing so, Logan was connected to a force beyond nature, likening himself to
Jean Grey’s time as Phoenix
.
Wolverine was instantly connected with every living mind in the universe, capable of controlling each of his actions. Even the tiny particles that make up reality were within Logan’s reach. However, he quickly realizes that this omnipotent power does not belong to mortals. Just as fast as he was, Wolverine shattered the Crystal, preventing anyone from gaining its immeasurable power.

The Phoenix Force
First seen in: Marvel Legacy #1 by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribić
Although Earth-616’s Wolverine has harnessed the powers of the Phoenix Force on a few occasions, his Earth-14412 variant reigns supreme as the definitive Phoenix Wolverine. In this reality, King Loki has completely destroyed humanity. Logan died in the process, but was resurrected by the Phoenix Force.
Dubbed in a more modern way “Old Phoenix” Following his role in preventing the First Firmament’s invasion of the Multiverse, Logan once again became a being of absolute cosmic power. This version of Logan remained linked to the Phoenix Force for eonsfully capable of maintaining his sense of mind despite its influence. As with all Phoenixes, Wolverine was imbued with precognitive powers, cosmic knowledge, self-resurrection, and the power to destroy planets. Once again, although Prime Wolverine has had his own use for the Phoenix ForceOld Man Phoenix fully shows what the rugged Canadian is capable of.

Chi Increase

In a quickly escalating fight against the world’s first Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto, Wolverine is chosen to bear the brunt of transformative power. Doctor Voodoo magically enchanted Logan with the Dragon’s Heart. Temporarily a true Iron Fist, Wolverine could utilize
Iron Fist’s full spectrum of chi
manipulative powers.
In addition to the general range of durability improvements, Wolverine was also able to using Iron Fist’s hypnotic and mind-melding powers. Additionally, Logan’s senses become attuned to chi, granting him the ability to absorb, detect, and manipulate energy. No longer needing its own healing factor, the Dragonheart temporarily does Wolverine resistant to pain and injuries. Together, Doctor Voodoo and Wolverine muster enough power to defeat Agamotto.

The Mark of Hell
First seen in: The New Avengers #6 by Brian Michael Bendis, Stuart Immonen, Wade von Grawbadger and Laura Martin
In the same event that imbued Wolverine with the Dragonheart, Logan also received the Mark of Hell from Daimon Hellstrom. Hell-Marks are sigils in the shape of a pentagram that are bestowed upon souls with the potential to become a Lord of Hell. People like Daimon naturally deserve them, while Wolverine Prove your strength in a time of need.
As the wielder of a Hell-Mark, Logan would be able to harness all of Hell’s powers. Holders of the Hell-Mark, such as Wolverine, can summon demons and demonic artifacts to do their bidding. Obviously, they can take advantage
the terrible power of hellfire
. Although it may look like an ordinary flame, hellfire burns a being’s soul, making it a deadly weapon against all enemies. Along with using Iron Fist’s powers Wolverine and Doctor Voodoo defeat Agamotto before Logan is forced to give back his borrowed skills. However, it is unknown whether Logan still carries a Hell-Mark of himself.

The Spirit of Vengeance
First seen in: Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance by Benjamin Percy, Geoff Shaw and Rain Beredo
After millennia of watching humanity make the same miserable mistakes, Mephisto became bored with his toys and created the demon Bagra-ghul for entertainment. Bagra-ghul was initially grafted into a boy’s soul until the demon was freed and forced into Wolverine. As Hellverine, Logan obtained the full, nearly limitless potential of the Spirits of Vengeance.
Traditionally, Spirits of Vengeance They are creatures of infinite powerretained only by its users. Tied to the beast that Logan is, Hellverine was a massive beast forged from hellfire and primal rage. Its adamantium claws were coated in ethereal flamestransforming already lethal weapons into killing machines for the living and the dead. His most impressive feat proved to be his control over the Spirit. Logan was able to call back his fiery other when he tried to enter another soul. When Logan was finally reunited with his son, he later gave Akihiro the Hellverine Spirit of Vengeance.

The powers of the symbiotes
First seen in: Poison #10 by Daniel Way, Paco Medina and Juan Vlasco
As often as he wields hellfire and the Phoenix Force, Wolverine has also been bonded to a symbiote on several occasions. Chronologically, Logan first encountered Grendal’s offspring during the Vietnam War. However, Logan’s most memorable symbiotic bond was with a clone of the Venom symbiote.
Forcibly grafted onto Wolverine, Logan had no control against the symbiote’s whims. This monstrously resulted in a terrifying fusion that would put
Venom’s traditional form
embarrass. Wolverine attacks anyone near him, with his claws almost as long as an entire person. Even his fists were larger than an average person’s upper body. In addition to his personal enhancements, Wolverine also possesses the general range of spider powers with which Venom has imbued all of its modern hosts. Fortunately for Logan, and not so much for the Venom clone, the symbiote still possessed an extreme weakness to sonic sounds. Wolverine was eventually released, but left fans hoping for wilder symbiotic action.

Claws Blessed by Odin
First seen in: Fear itself #7 by Matt Fraction, Stuart Immonen, Wade von Grawbadger and Dexter Vines
During the terror of the Fear itself eventWolverine and the Avengers were augmented by Odin-Force parts. With the power of an ancient god flowing through his body, every ounce of Wolverine’s body carried the vigor of the divine. His claws, now resonating with Odin’s Force, took on a hellish glow that radiated divine energy.
Beside his enlarged claws, Wolverine was encased in hardened metal and stone. Unlike the other Avengers, his entire body is transformed, covering him with Asgardian armor forged from the same metal as Thor’s hammer. Where his allies wielded their Asgardian weapons, his entire adamantium skeleton became a weapon in its own right. His power was so magnificently great that his claws easily penetrated through a Juggernaut infused with Odin’s Force.

Midnight Claws
First seen in: Midnight Suns #3 – by Ethan Sacks, Luigi Zagaria and Antonio Fabela
As part of a promotion for the Midnight Suns video game, Marvel released a new miniseries designed to follow a similar plot. To help stop the approaching apocalyptic demonic threat, a variant of Tony Stark who became the Sorcerer Supreme helped the heroes forge new sets of armor and weapons. His new crimson-red magical claws were powerful enough to cut through huge demons made of stone.
The power of his magically enhanced claws was immediately noticed by Wolverine, who cast a malicious glare at his enemies. Wolverine, with or without his enchantments, was able to persist through the demon’s “penetrating gaze,” which supposedly tested his victim’s willpower. Instead, Logan stood his ground, calling the demon’s power little more than a nuisance.

Hot Claws
First seen in: Return of Wolverine #1 by Charles Soule, Steve McNiven, Jay Leisten and Laura Martin
Surprisingly, when Wolverine dies, he always ends up in Hell. After his most recent death, Wolverine is resurrected by the mutant criminal Persephone. At first, Logan was nothing more than a puppet while Persephone separated Wolverine’s past identities from a new beast imbued with claws of fire.
These new claws, which Wolverine can still use today, light up thousands of degrees in a matter of seconds. This power appears to work equivalently to Wolverine’s savage rage. Although his claws are extremely lethal, if Logan ever finds himself wielding them, it will likely mean a tragic amount of death in the near future. Unlike his other mystical enchantments, the Hot Claws are entirely part of his own biology. It is unknown how hot they can become, but as Wolverine’s furious rage seems bottomless in nature, so must the heat of his claws.

Cyclops-Wolverine
First seen in: Sins of the Sinister #1
Node Sins of the Sinister arc, Mister Sinister created numerous clones of Moira MacTaggert. Abusing his time-resetting powers, Sinister created countless realities that he could manipulate as he wished. In one of these realities, Sinister developed the first prototypes of his Chimera mutants.
By splicing together at least two X genes, Sinister could create cloned mutants possessing all the powers of their genetic predecessors. One of the first Chimeras, a perfect genetic fusion of Cyclops and Wolverine, had the powers of both X-Men. In one hand, Wolverine had his characteristic claws. However, in the other, Cyclops’ Punch Dimension conduits were affixed to his knuckles.. This Wolverine retained all of his original terrifying power, while also wielding a concussive force that could give the mutant Chimera an advantage in close and long-range combat. Additionally, this Wolverine didn’t use his eyes, likely significantly enhancing his other senses.
