The captain's fight
Episode 151 – Showdown! The Battle of the Magic Knights Squad Captains
Captain Fights Black Clover It's one of the best reasons to watch it. It's rare in any shōnen series for so many nearly overpowered characters to fight each other at the same time, but that's the case in Captain Fight. The Magic Knight Captains are said to be the strongest magic users in the entire Clover Kingdom, save for the Wizard King Julius Novachrono himself. When the Captains split into two teams and go into battle, they put on quite a show.
The battle is fought to reassure the people of the Clover Kingdom about the absolute power their leaders possess. At this point in the series, a terrorist group called the Eye of the Midnight Sun has been causing a lot of havoc in the Clover Kingdom, and its citizens are scared, to say the least. After this fight, however, citizens have full faith on the Magic Knight Captains to protect them.

Yami unlocks black cloak dimensional cut
Episode 49 – Beyond Limits
Black Bulls captain Yami Sukehiro is the king of overcoming limits. He not only yells at his own team and pushes them to push their own limits, but he also leads by example. Many times in the series it seems like all is lost for the Black Bulls, or even for Yami himself, only for them to achieve what they once considered impossible. When Vetto from the Eye of the Midnight Sun breaks into the underwater testing facility, Yami has to go where he's never gone before.
Most shōnen series feature a character who pushes their limits, usually in the heat of battle. Dragon Ball Z is a great example of this, as Goku himself had to perform countless forms to beat his opponent. Yami does the same against Vetto, unlocking the Dark Cloak Dimension Slash and destroying his enemy with a single swing of his katana.

Asta makes a deal with Liebe
Episode 170 – The Distant Future
If Yami is the king of overcoming limits, Asta is the king of forgiveness. Only Naruto with his jutsu-free speech could rival his ability to see the best in his opponent. Asta had no idea that he was sharing power with the demon Liebe. When the Devil Binding Ritual began, Nacht told him that he had to dominate Liebe to subdue him and steal his powers. Fortunately for Liebe, that's not his style. Asta asked what the devil's name was and decided to continue sharing power instead of subjugating Liebe like Nacht wanted.
It's a touching and refreshing moment for the shōnen series as a whole. Of course, Asta had already defeated Liebe in battle, but he saw no point in controlling him. when they could simply work together. It's moments like these that not only set Asta apart from other shōnen protagonists, but also make him Black Clover feel unique in other shōnen series too.

Julius saves the kingdom
Episode 93 – Julio Novachrono
Shōnen series are generally defined by their strongest characters. Although characters like Asta eventually gain the strength to be the strongest anime character out there, they don't start out that way. They gain strength both physically and mentally by following their superiors, and in Asta's case, he has one of the best examples to follow in Julius Novachrono. Julius stands head and shoulders above all other characters in the series when he fights Licht, later revealed to be Patry. Instead of simply dominating the enemy, he sacrifices his life to save the people of the Clover Kingdom.
It's a brutal time this is equally heartfelt when the audience gets to see where Julius' true intentions lie. He didn't become the Wizard King as a proof of his own power. He became the strongest to protect those who could not protect themselves, the mark of a true leader and someone worth following.

Golden Aurora x Zenon
Episode 161 – The Power of Zenon
There are many moments when Black Clover what make it stand out from other shōnen series and give you a truly understated feel. One of these moments is when the villain Zenon Zogratis invades the Golden Dawn and almost single-handedly exterminates them. At this point in the series, the Golden Dawn is considered the strongest squad of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They have Captain William Vangeance, Yuno Grinberryall, and many more.
They don't stand a chance against Zenon and his troops from the Spade Kingdom. He wipes the floor with Golden Dawn, killing half his squad like nothing. It's a rare moment for a shōnen series to allow so many of its 'good guy' forces to die, Black Clover Not afraid to kill people to advance the story.

Mereoleona vs. Prince Funnybunny
Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King
What Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King lack of a true story, it was made up for in some of the best fights in Black Clover history. Mereoleona is an underrated character within black clover, and well written. There aren't many characters who want to fight as much as Mereoleona, and she meets her match in a former Wizard King, Princia Funnybunny. Their fight is one of the most exciting in the series, while exchanging blows with smiles on their faces.
Moments like this allow Black Clover stand out in the shōnen genre. While many action-based series have great fights, few manage to show their characters having as much fun while fighting. Mereoleona is at a disadvantage for most of the fight, and she couldn't care less. All she wants to do is keep fighting as hard as she can and push Princia beyond her respective limits.

Charmy is half dwarf
Episode 114 – The Final Invaders
The story of Black Clover It seems relatively simple at first, and that's what makes all the developments along the way even more interesting. Charmy Pappitson is a normal chibi character who wants nothing more than to feed her friends the most delicious food her spells can offer. When the elves reincarnate into Knights of the Clover Kingdom, Lira, the person who takes over Rill's body, begins to fight Charmy. At first, it seems like Charmy doesn't have a chance until his half-dwarf form emerges.
Shape changes are always exciting in shōnen series. This moment just got even more exciting when Charmy herself didn't know that she was half dwarf. It's also the first time in the series that dwarves are mentioned, adding an entirely new element to the series that no one would have seen coming.

Asta invades the Spade Kingdom's ship
Episode 158 – The Beginning of Hope and Despair
Asta's transformation into a muscular, battle-hungry young man is one of the best in Black Clover. He started the series as a skinny peasant with no magic and couldn't do much about the problems around him. Instead of accepting his lot in life, Asta trained harder than anyone. He constantly trained with his swords until he became the powerhouse he saw later in the series. His body also changed, developing absurd muscles that could handle multiple heavy swords as if they were nothing more than paperweights.
When the Spade Kingdom's ship is heading towards the Heart Kingdom, Asta flies straight into it. He doesn't care about the enemies on the ship or how strong they might be. He dives headlong into danger and destroys your enemies without thinking twice. It's an emotional and captivating moment in a series full of emotions.

Asta and Yami vs.
Episode 167 – Black Oath
Asta is the character who works the hardest Black Clover. He has achieved immense strength in just a few years, not with his talent like other characters, but just through hard work. His hard work finally pays off when Yami uses his name for the first time in the series in a fight against Dante, the leader of the Black Clover Zogratis brothers. Yami recognizes that he cannot face Dante alone and asks his junior for help. Asta responds as if he just grabbed a Senzu Bean from Dragon Ball Z and flies back into the fight.
Moments like this define a series. When a hero is needed most, their response not only highlights the battle itself, but also their character arc and the series. Asta not giving up on himself and choosing to overcome his own limits is a fundamental characteristic of Black Clover and one of the easiest ways to see this the show is really underrated.

Black Bulls Protect Finral
Episode 80 – Special Little Brother vs. Failed Big Brother
Black Clover is full of hype moments: Asta and Yami vs. Dante, Mereoleona vs. Principe and much more. None of them, however, compare to the Black Bulls stepping in to protect one of their own. This single moment can be watched over and over again and is always equally moving. When Langris goes to execute his already defeated brother, the Black Bulls rush to save him. Each of the squad members is ready to fight.
Asta, Luck and Magna surround Langris and say jaw-dropping phrases. Fortune even tells Langris that he doesn't care about the match at all and will kill him where he is. That's it a cold and breathtaking moment this somehow makes the Black Bulls seem even cooler than they normally are. There are many shōnen series with cool moments, but few compare to this one.
