10 Things to Remember Before Season 7 Part 2 Premieres

Outlander season 7, part 2, is on the way, following several big twists in part 1. Jamie, Claire, and the rest of their family have certainly been through a lot since the series began, with barely any time to breathe between each subsequent disaster. Still, as Outlander As it heads into its eighth and final season, these characters are doing their best to establish a happy life in the 18th and 20th centuries. However, something always manages to get in the way, and disasters Outlander season 7 part 1 will no doubt result in more twists and turns in part 2.

The events of Outlander season 7 is based on the seventh and eighth by Diana Gabaldon Outlander books, An echo in the bone and Written in my own heart’s blood. Divided into two parts, the first premiered in June 2023, detailing the events that followed Claire Fraser’s arrest for the murder of Malva Christie. Now, entering Outlander Season 7 Part 2 Claire and Jamie are doomed to be separated again after a brief period of joy as they are reunited with their Scottish family. Of course, there will certainly be a lot more to come, which provides an update on major events Outlander season 7 part 1 even more necessary.

Outlander Season 7, Part 1 began with Claire arrested for Malva’s murder, with Jamie desperately trying to get her back. Ultimately, he was unable to do so, and with the Revolutionary War in its early stages, it was unlikely that Claire would have the opportunity to defend herself in court for many months – if not years. However, Tom Christie came to Claire’s rescue when he confessed to murdering his own daughter.

This confession was obviously false. Tom is in love with Claire and wants to give his life to free her. Upon returning to Fraser’s Ridge Claire discovered that it was actually Tom’s son, Allan, who murdered Malva. Ian killed Allan, and Claire believed for a time that the entire family had been tragically lost. However, she later discovered that Tom had not been hanged after all. Although Claire and Jamie have left all of that behind, it’s certainly possible that Tom Christie will return in Outlander Season 7, part 2.

Brianna and Roger welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Amanda, into Outlander season 7, part 1. However, Claire quickly noticed physical signs in the baby that she suffered from a heart defect common in newborn babies. Unfortunately, there was no way to save Amanda in the 18th century. If she survived, Brianna and Roger would have to return to the 20th century, where doctors were equipped for such a procedure.

After returning to their own time, Brianna and Roger stayed in Scotland, where they purchased Jamie’s childhood home, Lallybroch.

Claire and Jamie’s house was burned down by Wendigo Donner

The obituary finally came true (sort of)

Brianna and Roger traveled back to the 18th century to save Jamie and Claire after finding an old obituary stating that the Frasers died in a house fire. The date of this incident came and went, so they assumed they had achieved their goal before returning to the 20th century. However, it was discovered that the obituary had the wrong date since Wendigo Donner’s arrival at Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander season 7 part 1 saw the devastating fire finally become a reality.

Wendigo was also a time traveler and was desperate for gems so he could return to his time. Then, he ransacked the Fraser house, smashing bottles of ether on the floor before lighting one of Brianna’s matches for better lighting. This caused the house to explode – although only Wendigo and his crew died. Still, this twist revealed the potential for a self-fulfilling prophecy in Outlander since the fire wouldn’t have happened if Brianna and Roger had gone back to stop it.

Bug stole Jacobite gold (and Jamie secretly hid it)

The insects met a tragic end

As Wendigo searched the Fraser house, some hidden gold was discovered, which Jamie eventually realized was the missing Jacobite gold. This fortune was initially intended to support Bonnie Prince Charlie’s attempt to take the English throne, but when this move turned sour, it was divided between Hector Cameron (Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta’s first husband), Dougal MacKenzie, and a few others. Arch Bug, resentful of not getting any of the gold, stole a part of Jocasta and secretly hid it in Claire and Jamie’s house.

Jamie essentially confiscated Mr. Bug’s gold, and he and Ian watched him, suspecting the man would return to claim it. He was almost right, but it was Mrs. Bug who came for the Jacobite gold and started shooting at Jamie and Ian when they tried to stop her. Unfortunately, the old woman died in the effort. Knowing that others would surely come after the gold as well, Jamie hid it in a cave he and Jemmy once found together. He then wrote a letter to Brianna and Roger in the future, giving them a clue that would help Jemmy locate the gold.

Ian fell in love with Quaker Rachel Hunter

Ian’s new passion could be in danger

In Outlander Season 7, Part 1, Ian met two Quakers, a doctor named Denzell Hunter and his sister, Rachel. Ian hit it off with Rachel right awayand it wasn’t long before they were subtly flirting with each other. However, when Ian kissed her, she scolded him and said that a relationship would be impossible. Ian finally agreed, not only because he didn’t want Rachel to be shunned by the Quakers (like her brother), but because he feared the repercussions from Mr. Bug after his wife’s death.

After accidentally killing Mrs. Bug, Ian offered his life to Mr. Bug, but the old man refused. He said it was not an equivalent exchange and would take his due when Ian had something worthwhile. This was a pretty effective threat, as Ian was looking over his shoulder the entire time. Outlander season 7, part 1. At the end of this issue, it looked like Mr. Bug had really made his move since he was seen getting close to Rachel Hunter – whatever he does to her will have to wait until Outlander Season 7, part 2.

Jemmy’s “Nuckelavee” turns out to be William Buccleigh MacKenzie

In the 20th century, Jemmy was getting into all kinds of trouble and blaming the fairy folk. However, when bigger things started disappearing from the house, Jemmy was convinced it wasn’t him, but the Nuckelavee. His parents didn’t believe him until Roger saw a man peering through the window and went to investigate. It turned out that this man was William Buccleigh MacKenzie – Roger’s ancestor who accidentally traveled through the stones.

William (aka Buck) became an extended guest of Lallybroch, as he was technically family. He developed something of a relationship with Roger and Bree’s children. Although 20th-century MacKenzies were initially uncertain of its reliability, Buck managed to become a friend and defender of his home.

Brianna discovered a ley line in the tunnels

Brianna got a job at Outlander Season 7 Part 1 But it wasn’t easy getting the men she was in charge of to show their respect. At one point, they locked her in an underground network of tunnels. Fortunately, clever Bree had no problem figuring out how to escape. However, while below the surface, she was surprised to discover a strange billowing mist that emitted the same hum as traveling stones..

They concluded that Bree had discovered a ley line and that the place where these lines intersect is where the stones were erected.

Brianna ran through the fog without any problems and returned home at her own pace. After discussing the matter with Roger and looking at some maps, they concluded that Bree had discovered a ley line and that the place where these lines intersect is where the stones were erected. Therefore, it was determined that time travel is connected to ley lines around the globe.

Rob Cameron kidnapped Jemmy to find hidden Jacobite gold

Outlander season 7 part 1 left Jemmy on a cliffhanger

One of Brianna’s co-workers, Rob Cameron, tried to get close to the MacKenzies, and it eventually became clear why. Outlander season 7, part 1. After Bree accidentally packages Roger’s manuscript, which describes his time-travel adventures and hidden Jacobite gold (and who knows where it is hidden), along with his teaching materials, Cameron took it and read it all.

Cameron pretended not to believe what Roger had written, referring to it as science fiction. However, the truth is revealed when he invites Jemmy to watch a movie with him and his nephew. Unsuspecting, Brianna and Roger agreed, but Buck and little Amanda sensed there was more going on. After going to the rocks, Roger and Brianna discovered Jemmy’s scarf and concluded that Cameron had taken the boy to find Jacobite gold.

Time travel is getting more complicated

The last time we see Roger and Buck in Outlander Season 7, part 1, they are going through the rocks to find Cameron and get Jemmy back. The problem is that These characters haven’t gotten the hang of time travel yet. It’s unclear exactly when Cameron would have traveled, so Roger could only think about his son and hope he was brought to him.

Brianna stayed behind with little Mandy in case Cameron and Jemmy returned. However, Mandy stating that she could no longer feel Jemmy (they share a deep, unseen connection) strongly hinted that the boy was taken to a different time. Of course, only time will tell for sure.

Jamie, Claire and Ian return to Scotland

The Frasers are going home

Jamie and Claire had been looking forward to returning to Scotland all along. Outlander Season 7, Part 1, but something always got in the way. However, they finally got their wish when Jamie was asked to accompany the body of Brigadier General Simon Fraser back to his homeland. This wouldn’t be a permanent journey – Jamie and Claire have already decided where they want to build their new home in Fraser’s Ridge. However, the Scottish scenario in Outlander season 7 part 2 is sure to be an emotional reunion.
