10 Things The Definitive Edition Of Hogwarts Legacy Should Include

Hogwarts Legacy turned the magical and wonderful wizarding world into a surprisingly enjoyable open-world experience that took the world by storm and proved that single-player games are truly alive. Offered fans and newcomers to the Harry Potter franchise the opportunity to explore the hallowed halls of Hogwarts as well as the vast surrounding areas. However, while it was immensely fun, it was missing some crucial features to make it the best Harry Potter simulator.

Fortunately, the rumors Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition should add 15 hours of extra content to the base game while improving it in several ways. Until now, the added content has remained a mystery, although new stories, activities, and side content are reportedly coming to the game. Definitive Edition. However, so that it is truly classified as the “definitive“version of the game, must include these important elements.

10

More classes

The ability to watch classes outside of the main story

While Hogwarts Legacy The main story and the plethora of side quests have their fans, there are many players who believe it should have leaned more towards being a school simulator. As a result, more optional classes have become a highly requested resource for Hogwarts Legacyespecially since they would naturally add a significant amount of immersion to the more scholastic aspects of the game. This could involve players attending classes, offering just a quick cutscene showing them studying alongside their peers.

Alternatively, it could be a more involved affair, with a simple minigame to complete, much like how Intimidating took care of his classes. For example, Classes may contain some type of quick event or a series of questions that culminate in a quiz à la Person 5. Whatever the case, more classes in a game named after and centered on a famous school of magic seem like an absolute necessity.

Minigames to play

Gobstones and magic chess are a must

While Hogwarts itself is a lot of fun to explore, with plenty of fun distractions to entertain the player, one thing Hogwarts Legacy What’s missing are minigames. Sure, it’s packed with puzzles and collectibles for the player to engage in, but the inability to sit down and play a game of Wizards Chess or Gobstones with other students is a shame. It feels like a missed opportunity to have fun with the more prominent side characters, as there’s nothing quite like beating a friend in Wizards Chess.

Not including minigames feels like a missed opportunity to have fun bonding moments with the more prominent side characters, as there’s nothing quite like beating a friend in Wizards Chess.

Minigames would definitely help flesh out Hogwarts and the open worldas they could involve some kind of tournament, with players needing to hunt down the best Wizards Chess players across Scotland, starting with Hogwarts. Alternatively, it could just be a simple, fun minigame located in the common rooms for players to interact with whenever they want to relax.

8

More Companion Missions

More time with friends would be great

The companion missions in Hogwarts Legacy were easily some of the best in the entire game, with Sebastian Sallow’s missions being a highlight for many players. They felt more mature and developed than the main storyline, not to mention the plethora of other side quests. However, when they are finished, there is little the player can do to interact with the characters they have just participated in an exciting adventure with.

THE Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition needs to add more ways to interact with teammatesincluding new missions. This could be a handful of quests with each current companion or even the introduction of a Ravenclaw companion with a new set of quests to complete. Regardless, it’s important to make it seem like they aren’t throwaway characters once the player finishes their missions.

7

The ability to sleep

Finally put an end to the protagonist’s insomnia

One of the most bizarre missing features in Hogwarts Legacy is the ability to sleep. While it may seem like a minor exclusion, it’s a pretty engaging feature that would have gone a long way toward not only encouraging players to utilize common rooms more, but also offering a more realistic way to skip time. Players cannot even interact with the beds in Hogwarts Legacy and there is also no designated space in the common room.

While there are mods – including the wonderful Emote with Any NPC – that allow players to interact with beds, the Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition should make it an official resource. It’s a small addition, but one that would go a long way toward ensuring that players feel completely immersed in the game. Hogwarts Legacy experience. The ability to customize the specific part of the player’s dorm would also serve to make it much more immersive.

6

Enhanced Common Rooms

More activities for players to participate in in common rooms

Speaking of common rooms, players need a lot more things to do in them in Definitive version of Hogwarts legacy than in the base game. The common rooms are one of the best parts of Hogwarts and also one of the few things that separate each house. However, there is practically nothing to do in each of the four common rooms as well as walking around and observing students interacting with each other.

It’s a shame, especially considering how much effort went into creating them. Adding minigames like Wizards Chess to common rooms would make them feel much more engaging and worthwhileas well as potentially more secrets to discover and a way to interact with students on a deeper level. Perhaps special events could take place in the common room, which players will only be able to experience if they visit at certain times of the day. There are many potential ideas when it comes to improving common rooms.

5

Mayors at night

They should be roaming the halls

In the base version of Hogwarts Legacyplayers could wander around the school grounds at night with absolutely no consequences. It’s a bit of a strange experience as all the other students disappear when it gets dark. Naturally, players want to fix this, as canonically, there are monitors roaming the school at night to ensure no students are sneaking around.

Of course, mayors have been at the top of many Hogwarts Legacy fan lists for must-have additions. It would make sense for the Definitive Edition to add them, especially since modders have proven that they work on Hogwarts Legacy. This would make trying to complete side quests during this time much more stressful.but perhaps there could be secrets added that can only be accessed at night, encouraging players to be a little rebellious.

4

A Better Duel Club

Should be more than a handful of easy missions

The dueling club in Hogwarts Legacyknown as Crossed Wands, it is one of the most unique pieces of side content in the entire game. In it, players face increasingly difficult groups of students alongside a teammate to see who can become the Crossed Wands club champion. They are relatively fun missions, but they end too soon. The player can overcome them relatively quicklywith the rest of the game having absolutely no duel club missions.

It’s a shame that this potentially engaging side content ended up being just a short quest chain as opposed to a more permanent accessory. The ability to continue fighting students to try out the various new spells that were unlocked would have been amazing. THE Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition It should, at the very least, add more difficult fights for late-game players to enjoy.

3

More dynamic open-world activities

Hogwarts Legacy’s open world is a bit shallow

Hogwarts Legacy The open world is full of fun distractions, including short and simple side quests, goblin camps, collectibles, and the many infamous Merlin Trials. However, while there’s plenty of content to enjoy while exploring, it can often feel a little empty. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but never feels as immersive as other modern AAA open-world titles.

Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition needs to add more dynamic and varied content to the open world to shake things up.

Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition needs to add more dynamic and varied content to the open world to shake things up. While this doesn’t mean ditching Merlin’s Trials completely, it could include stumbling upon unique side quests rather than just finding them at vendors. It can also mean the occurrence of emergent magical events during exploration, in the same way as Dragon’s Dogma 2 deals with its open world.

2

More penalties for using dark arts

Player should be punished for using dark arts in public

A system of morality is just one of many features that a Hogwarts Legacy the sequence should include, but is unlikely to Definitive Edition will add it to the base game. It’s too big of an addition to wait for what is essentially DLC to be added. However, Greater consequences for practicing Dark Arts spells could be implementedlike having students comment about it as the player explores Hogwarts, or having ghosts gossip about how a student was caught casting Dark Arts spells.

The Dark Arts are incredibly mastered in Hogwarts Legacythen they need some form of negative effect associated with them to make those who want to avoid them feel justified in their decision. This has to be more than simply having long cooldowns, otherwise every player will choose to unlock them as there are no real consequences for doing so. Making them a little less viable or making it actually suck to unlock them needs to be implemented in Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition.

1

More Ominis Gaunt quests

Give more screen time to one of the best characters

One of the most obvious stories for the Hogwarts Legacy The DLC is a deeper exploration of fan-favorite Slytherin student Ominis Gaunt. As a member of the infamous Gaunt family – which includes wizards and witches like Voldermort and Salazar Slytherin – Ominis has a tragic history that is only lightly discussed in the base game. Developing him further would be an amazing thing to see in the base gameespecially since the sequel will likely shift to a different time period where Ominis may not appear.

More missions involving Ominis that see him discuss and deal with his trauma would be an interesting inclusion and would help make his inclusion in Sebastian’s story more interesting. Ultimately, just having more Ominis in Hogwarts Legacy would be an advantage as he is a unique character. It’s fair to say that Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition It would be much better if Ominis played a more important role.
