The Syndicate leader began the series as a sympathetic pacifist, but his obsession with proving that Laurent was immune caused his faction to turn against Daryl. Eventually, his conflict with the protagonist reached a boiling point and the two had a one-on-one fight, resulting in Daryl apparently killing his rival. However, the final shot didn’t make it clear exactly what kind of damage Daryl did to Losang, offering a slim chance that he’s still alive.
How he would survive such brutal injuries in an enclosed space full of corpses likely to be reanimated remains a mystery, but it’s not out of the question given the franchise’s history. Assuming he managed to get out of the catacombs, his desire to capture Laurent would only grow stronger; therefore, the villain would have no problem going to the United Kingdom, Spain or America in search of the miracle child. Given that it is all he has left to live for, he would likely bring an army of soldiers with him, suggesting that Losang’s sinister plans could still continue in Daryl Dixon season 3.

Pouvoir’s presence could spread across America as they try to track down Laurent
Although she never received much prominence as one of the Daryl DixonOf her villains, Sabine ended Season 2 in command of France’s most dominant faction, which means she could still be back. Given that Pouvoir du Vivant still has the potential to be UndeadAs the next main villain, it would be a waste if the group didn’t return, meaning Sabine and her army could appear in the spinoff’s third season, and with Laurent headed to America, there’s no reason for his faction to give up on capturing the child.
Pouvoir has ships that have traveled to and from the US, suggesting that Sabine could easily take her army abroad. It’s not yet clear what kind of roles Laurent and Ash will play in season three, but their journey to the Commonwealth would become even more difficult if Pouvoir heads to the United States. Therefore, Sabine showing up once again and continuing her hunt for Laurent gives her the perfect reason to stay involved in the show, and could even trigger a future war between the Commonwealth and Pouvoir.

Jeffrey Grimes
Rick’s brother was located in Spain during The Walking Dead comic book
Fans of the television franchise may not even know that Rick had a brother, but Jeffrey Grimes had a small role in the comic book series, which hints at a possible appearance in Daryl Dixon season 3. Although he only appears briefly in the comics before being killed, it is revealed that he is located in Spain when the outbreak begins, before trying to find Rick in the US. Given that he hasn’t been in the TV universe, now would be the perfect time to introduce him, as it would give him a different fate than the source material.
Considering that the Grimes family has changed a lot over the decade, Daryl Dixon Season 3 marking Rick and Jeffrey’s reunion would be a nice touch, and there’s never been a better opportunity for it to happen. Spain never had any real relevance in the UndeadTV universe so far, and the arrival of two Americans would instantly catch Jeffrey’s attention. Therefore, allowing him to meet Daryl and Carol before joining them on their journey back to the US could make Jeffrey a permanent part of the franchise more than a decade after the main show began.

Lizzie could appear in Carol’s hallucinations, just like Sophia did in season 2
After season two explored Carol’s struggles dealing with her daughter’s passing, it’s possible that her past with Lizzie will also come back to haunt her when Daryl Dixon returns. Although Carol blames herself for Sophia’s death, it wasn’t really her fault, given the brutal nature of the apocalypse and how difficult it is to survive under such conditions. However, even though she had an understandable motive for killing Lizzie, the thought of shooting a defenseless child may weigh on her mind in season three, given the big role Sophia played in the last outing.
While it’s unlikely that Brighton Sharbino will reprise the role given how much older she is, Daryl Dixon They can hire an actress with a similar profile who fits the role, as they did with Sophia. Of course, Lizzie would only appear in flashbacks or hallucinations rather than having a magical return from the dead, but it could be a fun way to remember an iconic character who helped shape Carol’s journey. Even though it’s just a small role, Lizzie’s return would make Carol’s struggles even more intense, despite seemingly overcoming them during the season 2 finale.

Daryl may have his own hallucinations that cause flashbacks of his brother
Just like Carol’s hallucinations, Daryl could have his past trauma come back to haunt him, especially if Jeffrey shows up. Not only could this serve as a reminder of Rick’s loss, but it could also bring back memories of his own brother, who died in season three. Merle was an antagonist for most of his time in the franchise, but he had a solid redemption arc that made his death one of the Undeadone of the scariest deaths. Having Daryl relive this by imagining that his brother could give him similar struggles to Carol’s in season two.
Additionally, Daryl and Carol faced hallucinations while traveling through the tunnel to the UK, and although their gas masks seemed to prevent these visions, there could be lasting side effects. Without knowing where the story will go in Season 3, it’s impossible to be sure whether or not hallucinations will play a role in future episodes. However, if they do, Merle is one of the most likely candidates to return to Daryl’s mind, especially after having visions of his grandfather, suggesting that Merle could appear in the form of some small cameos.

While there’s a chance he could turn up dead early on in the show or never be seen again, Codron’s return in Daryl Dixon season three seems likely, and its story still has plenty of places it could go.
His journey from antagonist to unlikely hero is still one of the franchise’s best-executed redemption arcs to date, and seeing him follow the protagonists to the United Kingdom and eventually Spain would be interesting. He deserves a happy ending given his change of heart along with his sacrifices, making his potential role in Season 3 all the more compelling. Considering he was a big part of both episodes, his unresolved fate means he would be the perfect character to return, and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he played another major role.

Daryl’s romance story could continue with Connie making some kind of cameo
Romantic stories haven’t been very common for Daryl in Undeadbut its spinoff changed that, suggesting Connie could get involved. Having developed a strong bond with Isabelle throughout the first season, Daryl finally kissed her, indicating that they could be a couple in the years to come. Unfortunately, Isabelle Undead The death was another heartbreaking end to a love story for Daryl, but it opens up the chance for him to be with his most intriguing romantic interest, Connie. Although the two have never dated, they have a strong bond with many fans curious about their true feelings.
Although Daryl isn’t usually the type to open up, Connie may let her emotions take over and start reaching out to him. The fact that neither Daryl nor Carol have returned could make Connie worried enough to go out on her own and try to find the pair, giving her a well-deserved return to the spotlight. He also has a long-standing friendship with Daryl, and although this has led to tensions, Ezekiel knows how important both protagonists are to the Commonwealth. As a result, he can go on his own journey to find them, and his involvement would be huge as he is one of the Undeadof the most important remaining characters. His wisdom and influential personality would be a great addition to the spinoff, and he could even cross paths with Ash and Laurent, showing how interesting Ezekiel appeared in Daryl Dixon the third season would be.
