There are a few main characteristics that define all dwarves: they are short, they make great blacksmiths, and they generally prefer to solve things with their fists rather than spells.

If a main character has a dwarven blacksmith, his equipment will be better than the rest. Garrus of Reincarnated as a sword is a dedicated blacksmith and the closest thing to Granzell in terms of blacksmithing skills. He is patient, humble and always ready to take on a difficult job. One of Garrus’ strongest abilities is Divine Sight, an ability that allows him to perceive the strength and best qualities of a weapon just by looking at it. It’s a great skill for a blacksmith, as it helps Garrus improve his work by obtaining objective data from his weapons.

He is close to becoming a Divine Blacksmith, causing nobles to seek him out for work. While some of his stats aren’t very impressive, like his level two poison resistance, his level nine fire magic makes him potent in battle. He also has a level nine blacksmithing magic ability up his sleeve, allowing you to create some of the best weapons in armor in Reincarnated as a sword.

Kaijin

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Kaijin is the best blacksmith in the Armed Nation of Dwargon. He wanted nothing more than freedom to ply his trade, so he began a fight to be exiled from Dwargon and move to Tempest. It worked, and now Kaijin spends his days working with Kurobe to design the best weapons and armor that Rimuru Tempest can handle. Kaijin is not only a good blacksmith, he is also a great brother, ensuring a future for his younger brothers when they move to Tempest.

Kaijin is an honorable man above all else. He made a promise to help Rimuru establish his nation and kept it. When Vesta caused trouble and blamed the dwarf, Kaijin didn’t complain. He understood that he could not beat Vesta at her own game and stoically accepted his fate. In the great Storm Nation, Kaijin’s help will always be appreciated.

Senshi

Delicious in the dungeon

Senshi excels in Delicious in the Dungeon. When other characters want to go to the surface for a hot meal, Senshi wants to go deeper into the dungeon for him. There’s nothing he loves more than a good meal made from the monsters he kills and the plants he collects. The dwarf cook meets Laios, another person interested in the delights of the dungeon, and who could not have been more excited. He spends the series showing the group how good they are at the dungeon.

Senshi is not only a great cook, he is also more than competent in battle. He is able to make special potions of holy water that are actually great flails, eliminating one dead person at a time. When Laios finished using the holy water as seasoning, it conveniently turned into ice cream. Marcille, Chilchuck and Senshi then went to Join Laios and had their bowl of delicious holy water ghost ice cream.

Beren

Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fantasy

Beren is a loyal follower of Misumi Makoto and a strong adventurer in his own right. His Appraisal skill is one of the best a dwarf can have, giving him the ability to instantly assume the value of an item. He is one of the first characters to enter the demiplane with Makoto and was even friends with Makoto before Tomoe and Mio were given their names. Beren and his dwarven allies help Makoto blend into the world of Tsukimichi. Makoto’s power is so much stronger than everyone around him, he sticks out like a sore thumb.

Beren and the other dwarves design the Draupnir Rings for their leader. His rings drain Makoto of his mana, eventually becoming mobile storage devices for him when they are full. With Beren’s help and masterful equipment, Makoto may have an answer to any problem that comes his way.

Juliet

Mushoku Tensei: jobless reincarnation

Juliette is an interesting character in Mushoku Tensei: Reincarnation without a job. When Zanoba and Rudeus need help making figurines, they go to the slave market, where they find Juliette for sale. They buy her and offer her a meal before putting her to work. Juliette’s job is to make figurines for Zanoba to design further, so Rudeus teaches her earth magic. She has a natural affinity as a dwarf, which gives her an advantage in her new lessons.

After a month of learning, she is able to cast magic without incantation. She also has a huge amount of mana thanks to the time she spent training with one of the strongest characters Mushoku Tensei in Rudeus Greyrat. She likes to make pictures with Zanoba, who has become a kind of father figure to the young girl. She even asks him to read her stories at night, like a good father would.

Gondo Firebrand

Gondo Firebrand is one of the last runesmiths in Supreme Lord. When Ainz Ooal Gown becomes interested in runecrafting, he sets out to find someone who can help him. Ainz and Aura encounter Gondo, who is at first understandably afraid of Ainz. After Ainz shows him his basic knowledge of runes, Gondo sees the Sorcerer King as a friend. He even leaves his nation to move to the Sorcerer Kingdom and continue his research into runes.

Rune weapons are some of the strongest in Supreme Lord and Gondo Firebrand is the closest dwarf to making them. He is an excellent help to Ainz, who can provide him with specialized information before he even gives him the weapons. With Gondo’s help, Ainz was able to win over more dwarves from the Dwarf Kingdom who will also research the rune forge. He was already a great addition to The Great Tomb of Nazarick and he hasn’t even made a sword yet.

Talhand

Mushoku Tensei: jobless reincarnation

Talhand is the most powerful dwarf in Mushoku Tensei: Reincarnation without a job. His natural affinity for earth and fire magic, coupled with his years of training in wind and water magic, make him a considerable threat to all of his enemies. He was a magic knight in Paul Greyrat’s group, The Fang of the Black Wolf. When Paul discovered that his wife Zenith was trapped at the bottom of a maze, Talhand was by his side the entire time. He even carried Roxy on his back when she was too tired to get out of the maze too.

When the group finally found Zenith, she was trapped inside a Manatite Hydra. Talhand was instrumental in the party’s victory, using his massive Earth Pillar ability to damage the Hydra. He fought from both the back and the front, casting powerful spells to damage the Hydra while also jumping and attacking Roxy.

Dwarf Shaman

Goblin Slayer

Dwarf Shaman breaks one of the few dwarven tropes in Goblin Slayer. Most dwarves hate magic, but the Dwarf Shaman embraces it. By using the power of spirits, the Dwarf Shaman can effectively defeat his party’s enemies. Dwarf Shaman is one of the most fun characters in Goblin Slayer. Many of his best skills come from his love of alcohol, providing some funny moments. When he is ambushed by goblins, he can use his Stupor ability to spray fire wine in their faces to create a distraction.

The Goblin Slayer often takes the opportunity to set goblins on fire, brutally killing them. As a shaman, the Dwarf Shaman can use the powers of the surrounding land to create powerful defenses for yourself and the rest of the Slayer’s party. He can also use his spirits outside of battle, summoning the water spirit Undine to steer the party’s boat as they are attacked by goblins.

Eisen

Frieren: beyond the journey’s end

Eisen is the Warrior of the Hero Party and was responsible for killing the Demon King, ending the war at the beginning of Frieren: beyond the journey’s end. He is an incredibly powerful dwarf who is more than familiar with an axe. Although Eisen is small in stature, he is a giant on the battlefield. He flies through enemies at lightning speed and can use his small body to attack from surprising angles.

When the group reunites 50 years later to observe the meteor shower, Eisen still gets it. The group, now made up of much older Heiter and Himmel, is attacked by a monster on the way to a viewpoint. Eisen doesn’t hesitate to fly towards the beast, hitting it above the head with a quick swing of his weapon. After a well-aimed shot from Frieren, the beast is dead and Eisen can go back to enjoying the day.

Gazel Dwargo quickly becomes good friends with Rimuru Tempest in Back then I was reincarnated as a Slime. As leader of the Armed Nation of Dwargon, King Gazel there’s a lot to do. He still talks to his slime friend and even goes to the first Tempest Festival. When he hears about Tempest’s formation as a nation, he becomes wary. He’s not sure how to be friends with a nation of monsters, but he’s willing to try.

One of Gazel’s greatest strengths is his open mind. He was able to see the value of Rimuru and his country long before any other character in lemon, allowing him to establish an early relationship with the soon to be strongest nation in the world. Gazel is not only a powerful diplomat, as his Tyrant ability allows him to see through his enemy’s thoughts, making him a formidable force on any battlefield.
