Remakes and reboots can be extremely controversial, especially when they adapt a film that is already good in its own right, but There's always room for new versions of classic stories in today's cinematic climate. Some of the most interesting and innovative horror movies In recent memory there have been remakes of existing stories, but that doesn't stop them from still being incredible stories in their own right. The best horror remakes are those that alter the original in some way, giving them a level of credibility that goes beyond just retelling the story.
But in addition to these big reboots, there are also several horror remakes that should never have been made, which can give the whole concept a pretty bad reputation. Viewers begin to associate remakes with cheap retellings of already good stories, but that's not true in most cases. Most remakes exist for a reasonwhether to introduce a great film to a new generation or to adapt the subtext to something more current. Horror is the perfect genre for this to happen, as most existing films already have very relevant and important social comments.

It's packed with brutal action sequences, scary scares, and plenty of supernatural tropes This will be familiar to fans of the genre, but the stylish execution is what really separates Scary night of the crowd.

That's it part survival thriller, part supernatural horror, and an exciting and complete narrative.

As horror films go, it's hard to find one more bloody and relentlessly violent than My damn boyfriendwhat counts the story of a man who returns to a small town haunted by the memory of a brutal massacre on Valentine's Day. The film is intense when it needs to be, but much of the running time is spent building up to these brutal moments with apprehension and atmospheric tension.

Although not the best Invasion of the Body Snatchers movie, still deserves a lot of credit for carrying this iconic horror franchise and giving it a fresh, new coat of paint.
