It’s a big choice to make and therefore should be treated as such. The mere fact of having it as a fun option robs it of its narrative and philosophical weight, which is a shame.

    One of the best Hogwarts Legacy side quests is “Taking care of your own business“. It saw players go through a rather dangerous ordeal in the hopes of owning their own shop in Hogsmeade. If they managed to complete the quest, they would not only gain ownership of the shop, but also their house elf currency. Fortunately, players they could free Penny and run the store together.

    It would be fun to return to this mission in Hogwarts Legacy 2 and see the success of the player’s store. Maybe it could be a plot for a side quest where the player has to save his failing business or the one where they hand everything over completely to Penny. Either way, exploring Penny’s story more, as well as the store’s fate, would be a lot of fun.
