Fast and FuriousThe main story will come to an end in 2026 when the franchise returns for its final outing, but the saga will likely continue in future spinoffs, and there are several characters who deserve their own project. Having had 10 major films since 2001, Fast and Furious became a massive cinematic spectacle and one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time, eventually branching out into spinoffs for the first time in 2019 with Hobbs and Shaw. The action film was a huge success, leading to confirmation of a Hobbs solo spinoff.
There's no exact release date for the project, but Hobbs' solo release will almost certainly occur after the central story comes to an end. Furthermore, Hobbs and Shaw 2 is also reportedly in the works, but with many aspects of Fast and Furious'uncertain future, no one knows if the film will actually happen or not. Regardless, more spinoffs are inevitable, as the blockbuster series has a lot of potential to end while it's still popular, and assuming the central characters survive Fast and Furious 11In the end, many of them should be given their own dedicated projects.

Victor Locke
Hobbs and Shaw's mysterious character should be explored further
Despite being featured in a spinoff himself, Fast and Furious'Victor Locke would be a compelling protagonist in a Hobbs and Shaw associated spin-off. On the surface, Locke is a classic Ryan Reynolds-type character with a quirky personality and funny jokes, but his role in the CIA makes him much more interesting. He is responsible for bringing Hobbs and Shaw together and has a deep history with The Rock's character that could be explored in much more detail.
However, his potential connection to Eteon is by far the most intriguing element of Victor. Although he works for the CIA and actively fights against the villainous organization, he could potentially be a double agent, as Ryan Reynolds expressed Fast and Furious' mysterious Director Eteon in Hobbs and Shaw. Brixton Lore may have been the film's main antagonist, but the director was the one pulling the strings, and a Victor Locke spin-off could potentially help uncover the identity of this shadowy villain.

Isabel Neves
Elena's sister has the potential to become an important character
Isabel Neves is a relatively new character in the franchise, having been introduced in Fastbut her appearance suggested that she could become an important character in the future. His sister Elena was a trusted ally of Dom's team and helped them on several films before being killed in The Fate of the Furious. So elevating Isabel to a similar position to her brother could be a fun move, but she may need a spinoff to help establish her backstory.
While her sister worked in law enforcement and security, Isabel has a lot more in common with the main cast as she is a Brazilian street racer. Exploring more about her backstory along with the relationship she has with Elena could instantly make her even more important, and although she doesn't have many opportunities to travel with the main group now that the main story is coming to an end, she could become a recurring character in future projects.
8
Mr Nobody
An agency-focused spinoff would add a new element to The Fast and the Furious
The Agency's leader became an important part of the Fast and Furious franchise, but there is still a lot to explore about him and his organization. Although he didn't appear FastKurt Russell's character has grown in importance since his debut in Furious 7, and his disappearance adds to the character's appeal. Whether it's a prequel showing how he took control of the Agency or exploring what happened after his plane was attacked, he would be a compelling choice to lead his own spinoff.
A project led by Mr. Nobody would undoubtedly change the dynamics we are used to seeing in the world. Fast and Furiousas it could become more of a spy thriller rather than an all-out action spectacle. Seeing the steps of information gathering and planning can be just as fun as the high-octane sequences that have become synonymous with the franchise, and Mr. Nobody seems like the perfect character to provide some new elements, especially with Russell being a huge name.
7
Tess
Tess could replace her father as leader of the agency
Tess is another new addition to the series that debuted in Fastbut she already has enough appeal that would make a solo film exciting. Brie Larson's Tess is the daughter of Mr. Nobody and undoubtedly has a bigger future with the franchise, making a spinoff about her even more fitting than one about her father. No one could appear yet, but seeing Tess trying to rebuild the Agency's reputation after Aimes' betrayal would be a fun concept, and Larson also has a lot of star power.
Additionally, positioning Tess as the Agency's next leader would potentially set up the highly rumored all-female Fast and Furious spinoff, as the climax could see the recruitment of some familiar faces for a big mission. It may have had a relatively limited role in Fastbut Tess seems destined to play a major role in the final film, and wasting the potential of such a crucial character would be regrettable, proving that she deserves the chance to shine in her own project.
6
Deckard Shaw
Shaw and his family deserve a spinoff as Hobbs is getting a solo project
Having already had a spinoff alongside The Rock's Luke Hobbs, Deckard Shaw is easily one of the best candidates for another film. Jason Statham was a fantastic addition to the series and has become one of the franchise's most prominent cast members over the past decade. Shaw made a wonderful transition from a spiteful villain to a reluctant hero, and his polarizing personality is a big part of what made him so admired by audiences.
His serious yet sarcastic personality conflicts with many of the central characters in a positive way, allowing him to have many memorable scenes. The former antagonist is interesting enough to lead an action-packed adventure, but including Shaw's family in his Fast and Furious the spinoff would add even more personality to the project. Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren gave fantastic performances in Hobbs and Shawwhich means that his return alongside Statham's character would be a hilarious and fun story, and the franchise shouldn't miss the chance to bring such talented actors back to the saga.
5
Jacob Toretto
Fast and Furious killed Jakob too quickly
Another villain turned hero, Jakob had a major transformation between F9 and Fastbut it could easily have a compelling spinoff. Despite the seriousness of his first appearance, John Cena's character showed that he has a funny side and is also a great pilot alongside an experienced fighter, giving him all the traits of a classic Fast and Furious character. However, after his supposed death in Fastthe return of Jakob Toretto in Fast and Furious 11 is unlikely, suggesting we may have already seen the last of him.
Given how charismatic Cena is alongside Jakob's importance, it would be crazy to only give him two appearances. Dom's brother feels like he should have a much bigger role in the story, and while the franchise has a habit of bringing characters back from the dead, the next film would seem too soon for his return. Whether it's a film showing how he became a villain, a story set between F9 and Fastor a future film focusing on him surviving his supposed death, Jakob deserves another chance in the spotlight.
4
Dante
Fast and Furious' best villain needs more time in the spotlight
Despite only having one appearance to his name, Dante Reyes is probably already Fast and Furious'best villain, as his flamboyant personality and performative nature make him hard to forget. Unfortunately, Fast and Furious 11 it will almost certainly kill him, and the best-case scenario is for the antagonist to be sent to prison. Either way, a continuation of his story beyond the final main film seems impossible, but a prequel spin-off could really help explore how he became so deranged.
Fast did a great job explaining his motivations and making it clear that he always had some naughty elements, but a lot of time passed between his vendetta against Dom starting in Five quick and their plans being put into action in Fast. Therefore, a prequel would allow Jason Momoa to deliver another captivating performance while also giving audiences a chance to enjoy Dante one last time before saying goodbye to the character for good.
3
Gisele and Han
The franchise's best couple could have lots of fun adventures together
Despite Dom and Letty being at the forefront of the franchise, Han and Gisele are arguably the best couple in the franchise, and it would be great to see them finally share the spotlight. Gal Gadot Fast her return in 2023 was the first time she has been part of the franchise since Fast and Furious 6but she has yet to reunite with Sung Kang on screen. Both characters had fake deaths, meaning their first scene together will likely be filled with emotion and establish a potential partnership. Fast and Furious 11; however, their story should not end here.
Han and Gisele are integral characters in the series and will likely survive the final film, as they both recently returned. With their future all but assured, it would be great to see the two take center stage in a spinoff, as their bold personalities could lead to a lot of emotions while also giving them a proper chance to reconnect. Assuming audiences responded well, they could have multiple films together, which opens up the potential for some cameos as well, showing how much potential Han and Gisele have together.
2
Cipher
Cipher is one of the most interesting characters in Fast and Furious
Having been a major antagonist in several films, Cipher appears to be changing her behavior as she joins Letty and Gisele in the final version, but the character still has more potential. If she is able to find redemption in Fast and Furious 11This could set her up for a role in an all-female film F&F spinoff, but Cipher could also easily get its own project. Watching her build a new life and try to enjoy a peaceful retirement as the demons from her past come back to haunt her could be a fascinating concept.
She will no doubt still have some important contacts who can help her fight the many enemies she has made throughout her time in the franchise. This could lead to some notable names joining the cast of its spinoff, many of whom could become pivotal characters in the future. Charlize Theron definitely has the star power to lead her own project in the Fast and Furious universe, and Cipher is one of the most interesting characters still around that fans would be happy to see more of.
1
Rome and Tej
The hilarious duo would shine in their own movie
Roman and Tej are by far the funniest duo ever Fast and Furiousand their contribution to the saga over the years means they've more than earned their own spinoff. Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris have electric chemistry and are a perfect match, which would make it intriguing to see how they would work together in leading roles. None of the characters seem to be looking for a new line of work after Fast and Furious 11so a spinoff could focus on his next adventure after the main series.
Having the two bicker, joke, and ultimately work as one to defeat their enemies would be a lot of fun and something that longtime fans would definitely love. It would be the perfect way to keep Nathalie Emmanuel's Ramsey involved in the Fast and Furious as she has become close to the duo and suits their fun-loving nature. Having been part of the franchise since 2003, Rome and Tej deserve a spinoff more than anyone, and have the potential to launch many sequels in the future.
