Brain Rot – Plague (Major)
Everyone will love you
Turning an enchanted enemy into a walking bioweapon that infects others with toxic damage is incredibly potent, especially against hordes in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Plague’s big boost to Brain Rot in zombie mode and takes the ammo mod’s already potent toxic damage and turns it into a full-blown outbreak. This enchanted zombie is now a walking biohazard, but the cool thing is that he a chance to infect nearby enemies with the same toxin.
The infected zombies, weakened and disoriented, stumble about, becoming a chaotic, living danger to their undead companions. That creates a ripple effect where chaos grows quickly. Each newly infected zombie spreads the plague further, turning the horde into a turbulent mass of poisoned and disoriented creatures. Strategically, this increase offers a very effective way to control the battlefield. It’s an excellent tool for crowd control, especially in tight spaces or against a swarm of zombies.

Dead Wire – Chain of Lightning (Major)
More zombies for the price of one
This boost turns a stun into a chain reaction, spreading lightning and control damage to multiple enemies. It’s great for crowd control and a bit of a DPS boost Call of Duty Black Ops 6. When an enemy is stunned by a Dead Wire bullet, triggers a Chain Lightning effect. This effect pushes away the stunned enemy, electrifying and stunning any other nearby zombies in its path, so it’s a very good mod add-on to have.
The chain reaction caused by this increase can quickly immobilize a large group of enemiesproviding a critical window for you fire a volley of shots or make a strategic withdrawal. However, Chain Lightning’s true strength lies in its ability to control even the most formidable enemies. When applied to a Special or Elite enemy, the chain reaction not only stuns; essentially blocks the target zombie, preventing it from delivering any attacks.
8
Shadow Rift – Explosive Rain (Major)
Explode Zombies
The increase in Shadow Rift’s Explosive Rain boosts Shadow Rift’s black hole to the next level, making fallen zombies explode on impact. While the standard Shadow Rift creates black holes that distort and knock enemies down, Explosive Rain adds a deadly twist to Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Since zombies explode when they hit the ground, they can also kill other zombies. This means the impact zone becomes a mess of explosionsdecimating nearby zombies and forcing the remaining horde to scatter.
The Explosive Rain effect is particularly useful in tight spaces, as explosions create chain reactions that quickly destroy groups of enemies. It also pairs well with other field perks and upgrades that improve damage output or create crowd control. Using the Explosive Rain boost, you convert Shadow Rift, which was more defensive than offensive, into a weapon of mass destruction.
7
Cryo Freeze – Frozen Stiff (Largest)
Absolute Zero
While Cryo Freeze is generally about slowing down enemies, this increase freezes them completelymaking them an easy target for a few extra hits. This is usually a great way to buy the time needed for individual zombies, but there is often little time left to enjoy. This is a great way to control the battlefield as tokens the size and effectiveness of the hordes in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. It’s a great mod to get.
Once activated, Frozen Stiff allows players completely immobilize enemies caught in the path. This means you will no longer have to fight the relentless tide of zombies. With a single well-placed shot, you can effectively neutralize entire hordes. This gives you space and time to regroup, reload, and move forward with your counterattack. While Cryo Freeze’s standard slow effect is useful for escaping sticky situations, Frozen Stiff adds much more power to the strategy by blocking all enemies in its path.
6
Napalm Blast – Incendiary Bomb (Major)
Turn zombies into bombs
The massive Firebomb boost to Napalm Burst in Black Ops 6 Zombies is a potent and devastating ability that turns the already fiery ammo mod into hell. This is similar to the Dead Wire chain reaction; This boost turns flaming enemies into walking Molotov cocktailsspreading fire damage to nearby zombies. When activated, the Firebomb boost causes burned enemies to explode upon death, causing all nearby enemies to burn and be eliminated by fire. This pairs well with the best Jackal PDW loadout in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
The Firebomb effect offers a significant strategic advantage that allows you to quickly eliminate large groups of zombies. The boost not only does a lot of damage, but it also stops zombies from getting closer because they don’t want to spread the fire. This ability is particularly effective against densely packed crowds of zombies, as explosions quickly spread fire, but it’s still a great idea not to get too close to the zombie you’ve turned into a walking Molotov cocktail.
5
Brain Rot – Extent (Minor)
Much longer
Minor extension increase for Brain Rot in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies is a subtle but impactful update that increases duration from the effect of Brain Rot. This means that zombies will suffer the effects of the toxin for a longer period of time, which will increase the damage and duration of the spell. While it may not seem like a drastic change on the surface, it really helps the mod’s effectiveness.
This small increase is great if you have a smaller group of zombies. This is because the longer duration causes more enemies to be affected by the toxin. The increased duration gives you more time to focus on other tasks, knowing that the toxic damage is harming the enemy’s health and they are working for you. This will help a lot, giving you the time you need to ensure everything is going as it should.
4
Cryo Freeze – Liquid Nitrogen (Minor)
More likely to freeze
Minor increase in liquid nitrogen from Cryo Freeze increases the chance of Cryo Freeze being activated Call of Duty Black Ops 6. This means you will slow down zombies more often. Although it may seem insignificant, this mod is very important and does a lot to help you passively eliminate enemies. Therefore, ensuring that it is more reliable and activates more frequently is a smart move. This should be an option if you use Cryo Freeze but don’t want to use one of the main slots.
Don’t get any other minor boosts with Cryo Freeze; this one is really useful.
Liquid nitrogen can be very potent when combined with certain field perks and upgrades. For example, combining it with Speed Cola The perk will allow you to eliminate more frozen enemies faster, while Tombstone can create a safer zone for managing hordes. This boost and the right strategies can significantly improve your ability to deal with large waves of zombies. This is the kind of thing you want to increase your passive boost because of its usefulness.
3
Shadow Rift – Supermassive (Minor)
Bigger Black Holes
Shadow Rift’s Supermassive minor boost is an excellent complement to the already potent ammo mod. Supermassive takes this mod one step further dramatically expanding the lethal radius of the singularity. This means that the black hole created by your bullets will now occupies a larger areaeffectively sucking in more enemies and helping to deal even more damage to them in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
It’s important to keep in mind that Supermassive doesn’t necessarily mean the singularity will automatically kill more enemies. Although it is likely to result in more enemies being pulled into the vortexThe final damage dealt depends on the enemy’s health and the duration of the black hole’s effect. This means you can develop more strategies for Shadow Rift, allowing you to target specific areas to maximize the impact of the boost and potentially create better chain reactions.
2
Dead Wire – Lightning (Major)
Thor’s powers
While the basic Dead Wire ammo mod already stuns enemies with its electrical damage and creates a damaging electrical field, Lightning Strike takes things to a whole new level. Increased Dead Wire’s Lightning Strike summons lightningwhich stuns all enemies within a radius. This stunt isn’t just a dramatic visual effect. Each enemy in that radius will remain stunned for a brief period and pairs well with the best AK74 loadout in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
This is a very important mod; ignore the rest of the main ones if you can handle it.
This is great for densely packed hordes. However, it’s not as effective for more spread out hordes, so you need to think about your time and goal. The stun still stop the special enemies tooso there is no need to worry about any of them breaking free from this situation. The explosion essentially stops your attacks, giving you the chance to regain control of any situation.
Make the burn last
Napalm Burst’s smaller Contact Burn boost is an excellent complement to the already intense fire ammo mod in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. This causes the initial burning effect Napalm Burst is stronger and lasts longerincreasing the potential for damage. This is essentially a mod boost that increases damage and is excellent as a passive mod to keep going, so you don’t have to worry about enemies removing your fire before your health is completely depleted. You can see all 30 boosts in the video by Jason H Games below.
Increased damage and duration create a more efficient and impactful Napalm Burst. This is a smaller boost, so don’t expect the damage or big appeal of larger boosts. However, this is one of the best small boosts you can have. You should always think about the passive effects when getting a smaller boost, and this is the best passive effect you could ask for in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
