Creatures from Azeroth and beyond are always what players are looking for, and World of Warcraft: The War Within He ensured that the new zone, like a lager, teems with new kinds of life. Many new pet models around Khaz Algar have been spotted as mounts and companion pets, meaning that hunters aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the new wildlife. From the mountains of Dorn to the deepest mountains of Azg-Khat, new pet models cover a wide range of bases from reptiles, fish, new animals, and even some flying friends that look easier to tame than they are.
Although there are many additional pet models, A few of them have become the favorite of many players with their looks and occasional stat bonuses. While many pets are just cosmetic, the intricacies of pet models will always be vital in making a good hunter build that players enjoy.

Stormrook
Electrifying your gameplay with this shocking new pet
One of the newest additions to the pet models, a storm named Aradan was recently made available after a patch in Season 1 of The war within. Aradan is currently the only Stormrook available, but he is a direct match for the Algerian Stormrook mount that players received with the Heroic Edition of the expansion pack. There are five different versions of the pet available, with different parts of its model being changed to reflect some of the customizations that players can make for their mounts.

In the hills of Hallowfall, the Arathi devoted themselves to the care of lynx on the map. Players looking for a new cuddly cat have plenty of options, like one of the newest models for The war within is a selection of links.
Players looking for a unique version of the Lynx can find a rare spawn in the corner of Hallofall named Lytfang the Lost, an armored lynx that has lost its way, an almost identical match to the Dauntless Imperial lynx mount. The Red Lynx model can be found near Litfang and is another match for an Arati mount, with the Vermillion Imperial Lynx being the same model only missing a saddle.

Swarmites
Overwhelm your enemies with swarms of tiny terror
The prevalence of bugs and other creepy crawlers is integral to the narrative The war withins campaign over Khaz Algar, But these swarms are a new addition to the family of beetles and blood animals. Hunters hoping to tame one of the new eerie but beautiful flying ticks should know that a special skill learned from the blood-soaked tome of Dark Whispers is required, but is easily available in normal mode or higher Uldir Raid.
There are several variations of the swarmites, with four different colors and three distinctive variations in head and tail shape. One of the purple variants is a direct match for the Swarmite Skyhunter War within Mount available from the Khaz Algar Glyph Hunters achievement. Some versions of this new flying tick include a glowing proboscis that matches the design.

Undercrawlers
Deep-Sea Dominance: A New Level of Aquatic Power
Although spiders have been a prevalent part of Hunter pet model history, they have seen an incredibly detailed remodel in The war within. The inhabitants of Khaz Algar are not only spiders, because the new undercrawler model has an unusual appearance. There are four base colors, including green, orange, yellow and a shade version, but each color has an additional glow variant. These can be found in all three zones, and many of them have matching mounts.
The undercrawlers boast barbed mandibles and legs and stringers on their abdomens, making them one of the most detailed spider pets ever released. Players looking to get their hands on a shadowy undercrawler, Xishorr, can find the spider in the pillar-nest Xesh in Azj-Kahet, along with the other spider variants. Some undercrawler mounts are available as famous unlocks from the Severed Threads and require Kej to purchase.

Hermit crabs
A sheltered surprise: unique abilities and stylish looks
This is a fun new addition to the crab pet family, as the new hermit crab pet model shares many of the same colors as other crab designs. There are tons of new hermit crab designs, making them one of the most expansive new pet models, as twenty different models are found on the Isle of Don. There are now eight possible shell patterns, including many different colored shell patterns.
There are around seven different companion pets that match the tamable hermit crabs.
Although there are no mounts that match this pet, they are easily available and have companion pets that can be enjoyed by any player. These are some of the first pets in Khaz Algar that players can encounter, as they are scattered around beaches and coves along the initial areas of the Isle of Darn. Dustmoths
Soar through the sky with this ethereal companion
Moths and butterflies have been a welcome addition to the catalog of tamable pets, but between the two new family additions, dustmoths represent a nice addition to the family. There are five different variants available across Khaz Algar, but a new inclusion has also been introduced in Zaralek Cavern. It’s nice to see some of the other areas getting attention in the new one Wow Expansion Pack, featuring a sparkly blue dust moth with a purple body that can be found floating around the caverns.
If players are looking to match their pets to some of the older companion pets, a sparkly red dustmoth is also tamable in Zaralek Cavern now, which matches the undermoth companion pet. This very sparkly addition to the moth family makes sense because the light is an important resource for all the current campaign characters.

Shellhorn
Tough as rocks and ready to rumble: the perfect tank pet
While Blizzard hasn’t presented players with any additional unicorns, the new Shalehorns are the closest thing to them. With a corkscrew horn, the stags come in several different variants and seem to be heavy hitters when encountered in the open world. The six different designs of the Shalehorns are found in Hallowfall and the Isle of Dawn, making the beasts easy to spot.
One of the most popular versions of the Shalehorn model is the fungal version found on the rare beast, Plaguehart. This is one of the first max-level beasts that players can encounter, as Plaguehart sits in the center of a fungal forest in the Isle of Darn.

One of the most drastic additions to any existing pet family is the Cinderbee, as these fiery bees keep close watch over the Cinderwold areas on the Isle of Don. There are an assortment of tameable variants that hunters can tame, with all of them being out in the open world. The biggest difference between the variants is the use of yellow or red accents on the body and their antenna shapes.
This is one of the most creative additions to the wasp family, as the previous bees were simply just bees.

These are a wispy addition to the elusive Feathermane family, a special class of tenacious pets that require the tom of hybrid animals to be tamed. Much like the storms, the meteorological beasts have three different variants which are found in a selected area of the island of Dorn high among the cliffs. There are three variants of the Cloudrocks that are hard to tell the difference between, but they are stunning additions nonetheless.
The docile koudroks are an accessible alternative for players who prefer specializations outside of beast mastery, as they are not classified under the exotic beast category. This airy beauty is the perfect addition to any pet collector’s stable.

Skippers
Speed and agility combined: the ultimate hunter’s pursuit
The skippers are arguably one of the cutest creatures in The war withinAnd they come in five bright colors. They have unique additions to their designs, as some of them have an action and make a noise when clicked. One of the blue versions of the skippers is named King Splash and is a rare spawn that can try using “splash,” but it is not very successful.
The unique addition of a flapping catfish has attracted a lot of attention and praise, as the cute designs are empowered by a slightly silly mechanic. This one nods to these Pokemon Legend, Magikarp, has won the pet for many players. Even King Splash’s moves can’t be effective at World of Warcraft: The War Within, The Skipper pet model is very effective.
