While Nancy and the other basement ghosts are desperate to get shut out of the wedding, she explains that they didn't know Patience was going to kidnap Isaac.

When Nancy takes Sam and the ghosts down to the basement to reenact what happened to Patience, The Puritan ghost reappears and kidnaps SasapisStanding next to the wall for reference. In an effort to be freed, Isaac convinces Patience that he likes being with her but misses his friends. But instead of returning to Isaac's house, he gives up and returns with Sass.

Everyone recruits Bloom (Sheila Carracso) to help find patience, but it proves difficult ever since Bloom's memory is infamously foggy since she died while she was high. All she remembers is a warmth called Patience, but then she notices that she named the warmth after a woman who visited her in the dirt. This revelation provides some hope for the character, because getting Bloom on the right subject is half the battle.

She recalls that Patience lives under a willow tree, and everyone leaves to find her hiding. After Jay digs a hole near the tree, they find a burrow of rabbits but no ghosts. Flower then recalls that she was, in fact, remembering a Grateful Dead song about getting high under a willow tree. Hurt by their words and certain that she will be alone forever, Patience surprisingly lets Isaac and Sasapis go. However, the moment is far from solemn, since patience is hurt.

Isaac and Sasapis return to the mansion scot-free, but not guilt-free. The other characters are relieved that their search party can officially end, but when Sass and Isaac explain that Patience just let them goThe ghosts begin to feel bad for the Puritan. After much debate, Hottie (Rebecca Wysocki) suggests that Isaac retrieve Patience from the dirt so she doesn't have to be alone anymore.

Having only vowed to become a better man if he is ever free from the filth, Isaac is convinced to save Pati. Trevor (Asher Grodman) suggests that the spirits form a human chain of cellars in order to safely navigate through the dirt to the patience, just below the spring near the house. When Patience learns that the ghosts have come to save her, she calls out her name with joy, flipping her scariest quality to match the jubilation she feels.

After the ghosts save Patience, she settles into the Woodstone B&B to live with the others above ground. It's riveting to think that she'll be sharing a room with Sam, Jay and the rest of the Woodstone crew, especially after spending several centuries in the dirt. Patience's behavior has been unpredictable until now, fluctuating with her narrow moral compass, which could cause conflict with the other ghosts.

Finally, it is important to remember that patience is banned from your community for being too strict. Patience's need to police those in her community causes her initial conflictWhat can be found in the policy at Woodstone B&B. Patience already has a deep presence in the house, and she was seen harassing Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) to answer questions in the night as the Ghosts Season 4 premiere ends.
