Although Williams has kept busy since Game of Thrones ended, perhaps his most interesting subsequent role was in the Sex Pistols biographical miniseries Pistol. This fascinating look at the rise of punk rock through the history of one of England’s most controversial bands was directed by Danny Boyle and brought a lot of frenetic energy to its rapid rise and dismal fall.
