THE Marvel Cinematic Universe There were some incredible superhero costumes in 2024, adding to the long list of live-action adaptations of comic book costumes that have shined on screens big and small, and some of them were brighter than others. However, they weren't the only characters to receive comic book-accurate costumes.

Chris Evans' Captain America is one of the most important characters in the MCU, with the hero appearing in at least one film per year from 2011 to 2019. The best superhero costume from any live-action superhero adaptation in 2024, be it the MCU or another franchise, has to belong to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. The actor first played Logan in 2000 X-Men. Despite being a constant presence in Fox's X-Men films, appearing in two different timelines of the X-Men films and leading the Wolverine trilogy, Jackman never wore the character's iconic costume on Fox.

In his first appearance in the MCU, things changed. Deadpool and Wolverine I finally saw Hugh Jackman use it Wolverine's classic yellow and blue costume from the comics. Captain America's stealth suit is the perfect shade of dark blue and white. It's a costume that still proudly displays his Sentinel of Liberty persona, while also adding a sense of danger and mystery to the character. Perfect for secret missions, Evans' Captain America would pull it out of storage at Avengers: Endgame when the team went after Thanos, and Thor ended up killing the villain.

Spider-Man is the most popular Marvel character in any medium. The hero has countless different costumes in the comics, offering each fan a different one to call their favorite. In the MCU, Tom Holland's Spider-Man wears a homemade suit, a modern red and blue suit, a red and black version of Spidey's costume, the "Night Monkey" black ops uniform, the Iron Spider variant of the MCU and much more.

Oscar Isaac's MCU superhero is the only one who has the chance to have two superhero costumes in a single entry. The reason for this is simple. Not only do they both look fantastic, but each is tied to a different personality of the character. Disney+ Moon Knight did a fantastic job of making Marc Spector and Steven Grant - and later Jake Lockley - feel like two very different and real characters, despite both being played by Isaac.

To honor the differences between them, Marc Spector got a more battle-ready outfit, while Steven Grant donned a more sophisticated look. The MCU created a variation on the classic Moon Knight costume for Marc, based on his Egyptian ties, with the same bandages used to wrap mummies. Steven wore the classic Mr. Knight suit from Marvel Comics, an all-white look.

While seeing Tatum lead a Gambit movie would have been exciting, his role in the MCU allowed the actor to play the character in its definitive form.
