The best superhero costume from any live-action superhero adaptation in 2024, be it the MCU or another franchise, has to belong to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. The actor first played Logan in 2000 X-Men. Despite being a constant presence in Fox's X-Men films, appearing in two different timelines of the X-Men films and leading the Wolverine trilogy, Jackman never wore the character's iconic costume on Fox.

The character sported a version of the costume with and without sleeves. Towards the end of the film, Jackman's Wolverine lowered his cowl to complete the comic book-accurate look, which was one of the most beloved aspects of the film.

8

Scarlet Witch Halloween Costume

WandaVision (2021)

Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff is another MCU character who has had some exciting costumes in the franchise. In his only project as leader, WandaVisionScarlet Witch had several costumes that fans liked. However, one of her looks was notably one that stood out from the rest. Although it is not a fantasy designed to fight crime Olsen's best Scarlet Witch costume comes from WandaVisionHalloween episode.

The reason for this is that the process is a direct homage to Scarlet Witch's Classic Marvel Comics Costume. Plus, the red of the costume stands out and Olsen looks great in Scarlet Witch's iconic helmet. Another costume of hers that almost made the list is Scarlet Witch's. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness fantasy, which was darker and more distorted due to her villainous turn.

7

Iron Man Milestone III

Iron Man (2008)

Robert Downey Jr. first played Tony Stark in 2008 Iron Man. The actor would stay in the MCU until 2019 Avengers: Endgame - before returning in 2026 Avengers: Judgment Day as Doctor Doom – which allowed Stark Tech to be developed over the years in the MCU. Iron Man's armor started out as simpler constructs, with his final suits being much more technologically advanced. This meant incorporating nanotechnology.

Iron Man's advanced suits were exciting and, for the most part, looked great. However, nothing compares to a suit he has worn in the past. Marvel Studios managed to strike gold with its first film, which also debuted the MCU's best Iron Man armor. The red and gold combination is classic Iron Man, and the suit had the comic book hero's sleeker look compared to Stark's first armor. Iron Man's Mark III armor looked real.

6

Captain America stealth costume

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

Chris Evans' second Captain America costume is one that the MCU made one of the hero's most beloved costumes in any medium. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the standard of what a grounded thriller needs to be in the MCU. It's a darker kind of Marvel movie, with Captain America and other characters not knowing who to trust. Steve Rogers needed a suit that matched this tone.

It's a costume that still proudly displays his Sentinel of Liberty persona, while also adding a sense of danger and mystery to the character.

Captain America's stealth suit is the perfect shade of dark blue and white. It's a costume that still proudly displays his Sentinel of Liberty persona, while also adding a sense of danger and mystery to the character. Perfect for secret missions, Evans' Captain America would pull it out of storage at Avengers: Endgame when the team went after Thanos, and Thor ended up killing the villain.

5

Spider-Man's Ultimate Rocking Suit

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

Spider-Man is the most popular Marvel character in any medium. The hero has countless different costumes in the comics, offering each fan a different one to call their favorite. In the MCU, Tom Holland's Spider-Man wears a homemade suit, a modern red and blue suit, a red and black version of Spidey's costume, the "Night Monkey" black ops uniform, the Iron Spider variant of the MCU and much more.

However, the MCU's best Spider-Man costume only appeared briefly in the franchise. No more access to Stark Tech, Peter Parker went back to basics and knitted a new Spider-Man costume. This is Holland's most exciting superhero costume, which is seen in motion during Spider-Man: No Way HomeSpidey's final swing sequence, showcasing Spidey's classic red and blue design with a larger spider symbol and no excessive MCU lines.

4

Guardians of the Galaxy uniforms

Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Before leaving the MCU to become one of the CEOs of DC Studios and lead the new DC Universe, directed by James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In many ways, the film is the best entry in the Marvel trilogy. One of the biggest ways in which Gunn's latest Guardians of the Galaxy film stands out from the other two and the team's holiday special is related to the superhero costumes it features.

For the first time in the MCU franchise, the Guardians of the Galaxy wear matching team uniforms. More than that, they come directly from the comics. While not tight like most superhero costumes tend to be, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 The team uniforms are a work of art. The red and blue combination works wonders. It's a great homage to the comics and the cements that the team went from strangers to family.

3

Deadpool MCU Costume

Deadpool and Wolverine (2024)

If Wolverine put his 2024 costume on the list, so does the other half of Deadpool and Wolverinethe beloved duo. Ryan Reynolds fought with Fox to use a Deadpool costume faithful to the comics in the hero's solo films after playing a failed version of Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It worked, as Fox gave Reynolds' Merc With a Mouth perfectly comic book-accurate suits in his two Deadpool films at the studio.

Deadpool and Wolverine It mostly kept what worked, but the MCU somehow found ways to improve what was already a near-perfect design. For his MCU debut, Deadpool's new costume is a brighter shade of red this makes him appear in every scene the Merc With a Mouth is in. The leather material is gone for a sleeker look, the black cuts through the red better, and the eyes are even more expressive in the MCU film.

2

Moon Knight and Mr. Knight

Moon Knight (2022)

Oscar Isaac's MCU superhero is the only one who has the chance to have two superhero costumes in a single entry. The reason for this is simple. Not only do they both look fantastic, but each is tied to a different personality of the character. Disney+ Moon Knight did a fantastic job of making Marc Spector and Steven Grant - and later Jake Lockley - feel like two very different and real characters, despite both being played by Isaac.

To honor the differences between them, Marc Spector got a more battle-ready outfit, while Steven Grant donned a more sophisticated look. The MCU created a variation on the classic Moon Knight costume for Marc, based on his Egyptian ties, with the same bandages used to wrap mummies. Steven wore the classic Mr. Knight suit from Marvel Comics, an all-white look.

Deadpool and Wolverine (2024)

Finally, the last suit on the list has three entries for Deadpool and Wolverine. After a decade of trying to play your favorite superhero in live actionChanning Tatum debuted as Gambit in Deadpool and Wolverine. The actor revealed that if Fox's plans for a solo film featuring him as Remy LeBeau had worked, he wouldn't have worn Gambit's classic X-Men costume.

While seeing Tatum lead a Gambit movie would have been exciting, his role in the MCU allowed the actor to play the character in its definitive form. Deadpool and WolverineGambit's costume was faithful to the comics from head to toe. Tatum had Gambit's long brown coat, purple chestplate, helmet, and more. With Tatum reportedly in talks to return as Gambit, one of UCMThe best superhero costumes may soon return.
