The Megaton blower is a very useful ACE-SPEC board that Discards all of an opponent’s attached tools and special energy cards of your Pokémon. This, in turn, allows players to remove any special effects these cards would have given to the opponent’s Pokémon, thus removing any advantages along with energy the opponent may need to attack. If the opponent doesn’t have access to any cards that can help them recover what Megaton Blower discarded, they will be at a considerable disadvantage for many turns.
However, being an ACE-SPEC card means players are You are only allowed to have one copy of Megaton Blower in your deck. They will need to ensure they play this card at the right time to ensure its effectiveness.

Archaludon Ex

Archaludon ex immediately stands out as an immensely powerful tank. Milotic ex may not be as strong in terms of attack or defense compared to the other Pokémon in this set, but it still has Multiple ways to trip opponents who are not prepared to deal with it. For starters, its Sparkling Scales ability prevents Milotic from taking any damage from an opponent’s Tera Pokémon. This means that Milotic ex will be a huge obstacle for any player with decks that primarily utilize Tera Pokémon as their main attackers.
Hypno Splash is also a pretty effective move as it not only deals a decent 160 damage but also puts the opponent’s active Pokémon to sleep. This means the opponent can neither attack nor retreat, forcing the need to flip a coin to wake up the Pokémon. This, in turn, would allow the player to continue attacking with Milotic or switch out one of their other Benched Pokémon to attack without the threat of retaliation.

Sylveon Ex
Kicking out an opponent
In Sparks ariseSylveon Ex’s main purpose is not to be a primary damage dealer, but rather to be a way to weaken and trip opponents who are trying to organize devastating attacks. Its first attack, Magical Charm, deals a decent 160 points of damage, while also decreasing the damage dealt by the defending Pokémon by 100 points, leading to the possibility of making some attacks do no damage at all.
Angelite, on the other hand, forces the opponent to take two of your benched Pokémon and shuffle them back into your deck. This is a very useful move because, although it does no damage, it can potentially remove an opponent’s strongest resources from the field at any time. Combined with the fact that Sylveon ex cannot take any damage while benched, these attacks make Sylveon a very useful resource for utilizing effective strategies.

Flygon Ex
Bank security
Flygon ex is a very strong Tera Pokémon, mainly useful for executing strong attacks while using effective strategies. He has an impressive 310 health pointsmeaning he can take a lot of hits before getting knocked out.
The fact that Flygon ex cannot take damage while benched is very important, as its first attack, Reversing Storm, allows it to switch with one of the player’s other benched Pokémon. This means that in addition to being able to perform a 160 damage blunt attack with just a single Fighting-type energy, Flygon can repeatedly ensure you never get hurt returning to the bench after their turn. Additionally, its second attack, Sonic Peridot, can damage every Ex or V Pokémon an opponent has, effectively crippling decks that rely solely on these types of cards.

Palossand Ex
Damage to the field and bench
Palossand ex may be limited by the large amount of energy required for its attacks, but it makes up for it in the usefulness of these attacks in battle. For starters, its first attack, Sand Tomb, deals a decent 160 damage, while also preventing the opponent’s Active Pokémon from retreating. This means that the opponent’s Active Pokémon cannot be switched if they are in a difficult situation, leaving Palossand or any other benched Pokémon able to continue attacking it.
Its second attack, Barite Jail, is also incredibly useful, especially if an opponent has a lot of benched Pokémon in play. Barite Prison allows a player place damage counters on each of your opponent’s benched Pokémon until everyone has 100 health points remaining. This means that players will be able to reduce the health of several powerful ex cards so that they can be KO’d in one more hit if the opponent has no way to heal the damage.

Hidroreigon Ex
Greater attack power
Just like Palossand ex, Hydreigon ex is also incredibly useful in terms of its attack power and ability to create useful strategies to fend off opponents. His first attack, Crashing Headbutt, does incredible damage 200 points of damage for just two energymeaning players are able to unleash a very powerful attack right from the start. This same attack also discards the top three cards of the opponent’s deck, thus removing any cards the opponent may need and moving them closer to the deck-out.
Although its second attack, Obsidian, requires four energy to use, it is worth powering up. Obsidian deals a decent 130 points of damage to not only the opponent’s Active Pokémon, but also two of their benched Pokémon. This will provide players with the opportunity to potentially eliminate three Pokémon in one turngiving them a huge advantage mid-game.

Alola Exeggutor
Turning the tides
Of all the cards in the Surging Sparks set, Alolan Exeggutor ex stands out as the best card to play in a competitive deck. In addition to not being able to be damaged while it is on the bench, has several incredibly useful attacks which can help players change the tide of battle in an instant. Its first attack, Tropical Frenzy, not only does a decent 150 damage, but it also allows players to take any Energy in their hands and attach it to their Pokémon however they want, which is incredibly useful if they’re collecting a lot of Energy. .
Additionally, if players manage to utilize Alolan Exeggutor’s second attack, Swinging Sphene, it can cause the opponent to instantly lose one of their Pokémon to a coin toss. Whether the player gets heads or tails, the opponent will have their active basic Pokémon or their benched basic Pokémon knocked out immediately, which can cause them to instantly lose any of their powerful former Pokémon. With this incredible attack, it’s clear why Alolan Exeggutor ex is one of the biggest threats in competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game scene.
