In Elder Scrolls: Castlesdecorations offer more than just something pretty to look at. They are actually an important part of the game. The decorations have several passive effects This can increase your kingdom’s productivity, increase resource generation, improve subject statistics, and even maintain overall happiness levels.
Depending on the decor, players can benefit from things like increased oil production or decreased food consumption. Some decorations can be obtained easily with just some gold and resources. Others must be purchased in the Shop with Gems. While some Store decorations are always available, others are only available as special offers or during certain events. Regardless of where you get the decorations, some are still better than others.

Magic Lantern
Reduce oil consumption by 1%
The Magic Lantern is a floor decoration in Elder Scrolls: Castles. It’s a small accessory, so it doesn’t take up much space. In fact, it only requires a 1×1 block. The benefit of the Magic Lantern is that it reduces all-season oil consumption by 1%. It may not seem like much, but that 1% will add up.

Oil is one of the two valuable resources you need in your castle. The oil keeps the lights on and the stations running smoothly. Without oil, your castle’s rooms will cease to function, halting production at important stations. So, the Magic Lantern is definitely an item you’ll want in the beginning until you can unlock better decorations.
Unlock stations and use them as quickly as possible to produce other valuable resources.
The Magic Lantern requires some resources. You will only need 75 gold and 10 iron ingots to build one. Make sure you assign the right workers to your stations to increase production! As in HardReset.Information videoYou can assign your subjects to stations by pressing and holding a worker and dragging them to a station, or clicking on the workstation and assigning them there.

Sword Flag
Improve the mood of your subjects
Another smaller accessory that only takes up 1×1 tile. The wall decoration, Sword Banner, displays a white sword on a black background – the perfect accessory for any castle. In addition to being a castle-worthy decoration, the Sword Banner also comes with a special passive bonus: a less chance of his subjects wanting to commit regicide. Which, let’s be honest, regicide can be really depressing and cause some lasting tension in your dynasty. Furthermore, grants +4 happiness to commoners.

Still, it’s worth investing just for the gold.
The Green Dragon Egg is another floor decoration. Occupies 1×1 pieces. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to unlock this decoration until your dynasty reaches level 140. Until then, you’ll just have to use other decorations to build your dynasty.

Like oil, food is another valuable resource in Castles that you will want to do your best to produce and preserve. One way to preserve your food is by building the Garden Corner. It’s another beautiful decoration that will also brighten up your space and make it more charming, but the real benefit comes from a 2% reduction in food consumption for commoners.

Yet another 1×1 tile floor decoration, the Lantern Array, is a beautiful set of – you guessed it – lanterns. With five flashlights in one, the Lantern Array can really light up a room. The benefit doesn’t end there, however. The real benefit is the Lantern Array effect, which reduces oil consumption by 3% in all seasons. Again, oil is a precious resource, so when you can, you should build some of these lantern sets.

Red Grimoire
Improve the health of your nobles
In castles, You will send your nobles to fight against enemies from other kingdoms. Each Noble will have a health bar, and when the health bar runs out, say goodbye to your Noble. Purple Grimoire
Improve your noble magic
The floor decoration of the Purple Grimoire is similar to the Red Grimoire, except for the color purple. Instead of improving maximum health, the Purple Grimoire improves Nobles’ Magicka by 10.
