Many interpretations of Batman probably have a level of fascist subtext, something Rudy picks up on and pokes fun at, even if he doesn’t do it in a very nuanced manner.

Batman’s typically unamused reaction sails him quickly, and the Scarlet Speedster’s reaction to his death glare is almost funnier than the joke itself.
