The turning point in Bakugo’s relationship with Deku
Probably one of the most emotional moments in the entire series is when Class 1-A finally catches up with Deku after he escaped from UA to “keep them safe”, and decides to shoulder the weight of the fight against All for One by himself. While all the students do their part to bring Deku to their senses, it’s the moment between Midoriya and Bakugo that stands out as the pinnacle of an incredibly emotional arc.
Bakugo finally admits that the reason he bullied Izuku in the past is because he was jealous of his unbreakable spirit despite being quirkless. Feeling inferior, he held Midoriya back. It still stands as one of the most poignant and emotional moments in the whole My hero academia.
