Warning: This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.
Sasheer Zamata hinted at how she wants Jennifer Kale to return to the MCU after Agatha all the timeand I’m excited to see what wild new stories it can create. Saturday night live veteran Sasheer Zamata was one of my favorite additions in Agatha all the time incredible cast. Zamata played a race-swapped version of Marvel Comics’ Jennifer Kale, an extremely powerful sorceress who made her first appearance in 1972. Adventure in Fear #11. I’m really excited about Jennifer Kale in the MCU and I think I know what the future holds for the formidable witch.
Jennifer Kale was recruited by Agatha Harkness and Billy Maximoff for their journey down the Witch’s Road with the promise of regaining her power. Kale was imprisoned under mysterious circumstances during the 1920s, freeing her from her magic, although I loved that. Agatha all the time he still showed us the full breadth of his knowledge and witchcraft skills. Jennifer Kale survived The Witch’s Road, which gives me hope she’ll return in the MCU’s futureand Sasheer Zamata has already hinted at what the future might hold.
Jennifer Kale survived the witches’ path in Agatha the whole time
Jennifer Kale Regained Her Power on Witch Road
Agatha all the time the ending revealed that the Witch’s Road was a false reality inadvertently created from the mind and untapped power of Billy Maximoff’s Wiccan. Still, the trials of the Witches’ Path and the consequences that followed each were very real, as we saw through the painful deaths of Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Lilia Calderu. Although the Witches’ Highway is a fallacy originally created by Agatha Harkness centuries ago, Jennifer Kale certainly believes the Witches’ Highway is real.for it gave her exactly what she wanted and allowed her to live.
The final trial on The Witch’s Road saw Jennifer Kale discover that it was Agatha Harkness who tied her up a century ago. This allowed her to break the binding spell, regaining her power. We saw Billy Maximoff then unknowingly let Jen off the Witch’s Road, where she left the ground and flew to locations unknown.. I find it funny that Jen thinks the Way of the Witch is real and will likely tell others about her experience, spreading the legend even further, but the fact that she has regained her power makes her future in the MCU all the more exciting.
Jennifer Kale’s survival makes Ghost Rider’s MCU debut easier
Jennifer Kale is related to Johnny Blaze in Marvel Comics
The fact that Jennifer Kale survived The Witch’s Road and will likely return in the MCU’s future means that Marvel Studios has a very easy way to now explain Johnny Blaze’s debut as Ghost Rider. While helping Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze in the 1990s, Jen discovered that she is a cousin of these powerful Ghost Riders, descendants of Noble Kale, the 17th century Ghost Rider.. Ghost Rider is one of my favorite Marvel characters, mostly because of the lore surrounding the Spirit of Vengeance, so I’d love to see that brought into the MCU.
It has been heavily theorized that Marvel Studios will soon debut Ghost Rider in the MCU, and names like Norman Reedus, Ryan Gosling and Keanu Reeves, among others, have been cast by fans in the role. I would love to see Sasheer Zamata’s Jennifer Kale return in this speculated Ghost Rider projectcontinuing his story after the end of Agatha all the time as she carves a new path for herself, away from her clan. This could quickly connect Ghost Rider to the broader world of the MCU, allowing this antihero’s debut to make a lot more sense.
I would love to see Jennifer Kale on the MCU’s Midnight Sons team
Jennifer Kale was a member of Marvel Comics’ One Midnight Sons team
Since I’m very hopeful that Jennifer Kale will appear alongside Ghost Rider in her possible solo project, it makes sense that she could also become a member of the upcoming Midnight Sons team in the MCU. Now that Jennifer Kale has regained her power after her Witch Road experience, the witch is one of the MCU’s most exciting and powerful new supernatural characters.so I would love for her to join the Midnight Sons. There is clear precedent in Marvel Comics for this to happen.

A project focused on the Midnight Sons has yet to be confirmed by Marvel Studios, but I’m one of the many who think such a project is almost inevitable. Many supernatural heroes and antiheroes have been introduced to the MCU in recent years, and I would love to see them team up as the Midnight Sons, perhaps with Doctor Strange and Blade as the team’s leaders. Jennifer Kale was a member of Midnight Sons in 2009 Marvel Zombies 4 Marvel Comics seriesso I would be thrilled to see her included in the MCU’s live-action lineup.
Jennifer Kale’s Return Could Connect to Another Missing MCU Character
Marvel Comics’ Jennifer Kale Has a Connection to Man-Thing
Born into the Kale family of wizards of the Florida Everglades, Jennifer Kale apprenticed to Dakimh the Enchanter in Marvel Comics and, along with her mentor, became an ally of the Man-Thing. Man-Thing is the protector of the Nexus of All Realities, playing a huge role in the development of the Marvel multiverse, which meant that Man-Thing’s live-action appearance in the Multiverse Saga Werewolf at night Special Presentation made sense to me. I really want Jen’s connection to Man-Thing in Marvel Comics will be explored in the MCU.
Werewolf at night introduced Man-Thing in 2022, but we haven’t seen the unusual character since. Jennifer Kale’s survival on The Witch’s Highway and possible return to the MCU would create the perfect opportunity for Man-Thing to be brought back as well.. 2006 Rays #154 brought Man-Thing and Jennifer Kale in touch with the titular team, so I would love to see Man-Thing and Jennifer Kale appear in the MCU Rays* film, expanding the Nexus of All Realities and developing Sasheer Zamata’s exciting new supernatural hero after Agatha all the time.
