The Rotten Tomatoes score for Dave Bautista's latest action film, The Killing Gameyou have gone down. Directed by JJ Perry, the film stars Bautista as Joe Floodan assassin who tries to stop a self-inflicted gunshot wound after learning that the chronic medical diagnosis was false. Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley also star in the film.
Many reviews have come out The Killing Game to Rotten Tomatoesand the current score is not very good. At the time of writing this, the movie sits at a 33% approval rating based on 15 reviews. While The Killing Game seems to be better received than My Spy: The Eternal Cityit doesn't seem like much. Some critics have praised it Dave Bautista's performance is the highlight of the movie. In addition, the film's violence and action sequences seem to be a prominent feature, with brutal and deadly fight scenes as the thugs try to “take down” Joe. However, many have criticized how pedestrian-friendly the story is, saying the world Perry is trying to create is ill-conceived.
However, there seems to be a silver lining for Bautista recently, with the world premiere of Gia Coppola's. The Ultimate Showgirl at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he co-starred with Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Billie Lourd. The film has received excellent reviews and currently sits at an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes after its TIFF premiere. Regardless The Killing GameNot to be poorly received, the next film of Bautista stars has already been met with great anticipation and praise from critics and audience members who have seen it.
