Of all the names thought to appear in the Hal Jordan version of the Green Lantern, Pine is the youngest, at 44 years old. seems to be looking for its own Hal Jordan, while still young enough to play a long-term role in the franchise. Pine also looks more like Hal than Brolin, who was offered the role but decided not to take it.
Pine also has many roles that show the breadth of his acting skills, making him a great candidate for the hero. Lights will be the start of Hal Jordan's DCU journey, and Pine has a wealth of experience in similar franchises that can ensure he makes this hero a fan favorite for years to come. Of Star Trek movies, Pine stands out as the lead, playing Captain Kirk, the most famous character of Star Trek. Pine was convincing as a space explorer with a heart for adventure, and his Hal Jordan could have had similar escape years.
His previous DC character had the same experience as a pilot and the bold personality that Hal Jordan is known for.
Pine has appeared in many action or adventure movies which shows that he can lead a big project like this Lightsand some of them Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verseand more. Pine's DCEU experience as Steve Trevor is another major point in his favor. Not only did the character make Steve a fan favorite, but his former DC character had the same pilot experience and bold personality that Hal Jordan is known for. Based on all that, Chris Pine would make a great DC lead Lights series.
