Catherine O'Hara's return as Delia Deetz was one of the highlights Beetlejuice 2and the character almost had a line meant to serve as a fun callback to the original 1988 film. Delia is one of them Beetlejuice 2'returning characters alongside Michael Keaton's title character and Winona Ryder's Lydia. Although Jeffrey Jones is not reprising his role as Charles, there is another Deetz family in Tim Burton's sequel with the addition of Jenna Ortega's Astrid, Lydia's troubled daughter and Delia's granddaughter.
Although 36 years have passed since the beginning Beetle juice movie, Delia didn't change much. The character became a unique artiste, acting as a scene-stealer in every successive song. While she is forced to deal with Charles' death at the beginning of the film, Delia is also killed Beetlejuice 2 after being bitten by the snakes used in his ceremony at Charles' tomb. The character still had a role in it Beetlejuice 2she ends, until she reunites with Charles in the afterlife. That said, Delia was almost given a funny line that could have been a notable repeat.

When Delia died from a poisonous bite, she woke up in the waiting room of the Netherworld. When he wakes up and admits his place, Delia said with a laugh, “What the f-… hell,” as he starts using the if-bomb before walking away with it “hell” as his answer. Delia's use of the f-bomb in Bjuice 2 is a hilarious reference to a line in the controversial 1988 film Michael Keaton when he shouts, “beautiful f*cking model!,” in the middle of the film. This may seem very embarrassing, except for the fact that it is the first Beetle juice rated PG.
Considering Delia's shock and dismay when she realizes why she lives in the afterlife, it would have been entirely forgivable given O'Hara's character Beetlejuice 2Big f-bomb moment. Instead, the use of the name returned to Keaton while it was in Beetlejuice 2's Neitherworld while helping Lydia rescue Astrid. In order to prevent Jeremy from stealing Astrid's life, Beetlejuice stops the deal from happening by improperly stamping Jeremy's posthumous passport. In addition, Keaton gives Jeremy “later, f*cker“Before I put him in Hell.
How Beetlejuice 2's F-Bomb Honors the Original Movie

Beetlejuice 2 is officially rated PG-13, meaning the movie would be given one use of the f-bomb. Based on the legacy of the name from the first movie, the sequel needs to add insults at the right time to get the full impact. Delia would be a suitable character as she has others Beetlejuice 2Some notable quotes. Still, it makes sense to give it to Keaton since his character was linked to a controversial interview earlier. One way or another, Beetlejuice 2'The new if-bomb pays homage to the original filmbut it is used in a very powerful way.
The test was due to the fact that Beetlejuice 2 already used its own bomb during the post-mortem scene with Jeremy, making a mockery of the MPAA's ratings.
It is interesting that Beetlejuice 2 put in another f-bomb, but it sounded in the movie.
